ENTRY REQUIREMENTS This event consists of two shows: an Open show on Friday, and the ODS Championship show on Saturday and Sunday. You must complete two entry forms to compete in both shows. To compete in the Championship Show, rider must be a current ODS member in good standing. Adult riders must also be current USEF members in good standing. Include with entries for each show copies of current membership cards as specified on pages R-5–R-8. See also "General Rules" in the next sec on. QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS GENERAL RULES: 1. Rider must be a current ODS member in good standing at me score is earned. 2. Qualifying Season: 8/21/14 to 8/21/15. Championship qualifying scores must be earned during the current qualifying year prior to the closing date for entries. 3. Only scores received at ODS approved USEF/USDF Licensed shows may be used. (Non-ODS approved USEF/USDF Licensed shows, ODS approved League shows and prac ce shows do not count.) 4. Only scores received using current USEF approved dressage tests count. – Dressage equita on does not count – Dressage suitability does not count – USDF Introductory Level/lead line classes do not count 5. Qualifying scores must be earned by a horse/rider combina on, they cannot be earned separately. 6. In order to establish your qualifica on for championship classes, a ach a photocopy of the front cover of the qualifying test(s) clearly showing the show name, judges name and show date. You may also submit a printed copy of your official scores from the USDF Score Check (www.USDFScores.com). 7. Open show classes and open classes during the Championship Show will be run under USEF Open Show Rules; championship classes during the Championship Show will be run under USEF/USDF Championship Rules, in that Championship classes must be ridden from memory, and whips are not allowed; Addi onally, at no me during the Championship may an entered horse be ridden by anyone other than the rider entered on that horse (with the excep on of a groom walking on a loose rein). Any horse entered in the Championship compe on must be ridden by the same rider throughout the en re compe on. *We will not be closing compe on arena gates during tests, nor raking centerlines between riders. 8. Horse/rider combina ons may enter two levels, but may only ride in one division (Open, Adult Amateur, or Junior/Young Rider). Each horse entered must be ridden by the same rider throughout the compe on 9. Horse/rider combina ons winning Championship show classes may not compete at that level in future championship classes (except FEI) (does not apply to open classes held during the Championship Show). 10. Tests selected for championship classes are at the discre on of show management. Training–Fourth Levels will ride the two highest tests of the level. FEI Championship classes will be judged by two judges. Championship scores will be calculated by averaging the percentages earned in the two tests ridden. FREESTYLE, PAS DE DEUX & QUADRILLE: 1. Open to all riders who have met the qualifying score requirements. 2. Each compe tor must have previously met USEF qualifying requirements at the level for freestyles. 3. Each rider/horse combina on must have at least two scores from any freestyle, pas de deux or quadrille test of the level at any USEF/USDF/ODS recognized compe on to qualify for each level, with the following scores (if compe ng in freestyle, qualifying scores must be earned for a freestyle test, and same respec vely for pas de deux and quadrille): All USDF and FEI levels, 58% or above JUNIOR/YOUNG RIDER DIVISION: 1. Defini on: rider must be 21 years of age or younger. 2. Each rider/horse combina on must earn at least two qualifying scores from any test of the level at two different USEF/USDF/ODS recognized compe ons from two different judges to qualify for each level, at the minimum scores listed below: Training Level, 60%; First Level, 60%; Second Level, 58%; Third Level, 55%; Fourth Level, 55%; PSG, 55%; Intermediare, 55%; Grand Prix 55% ADULT AMATEUR DIVISION: 1. Defini on: riders must be 22 years of age or older by December of compe on year, and have "amateur" noted in their USEF membership card. 2. Each rider/horse combina on must earn at least two qualifying scores from any test of the level at two different USEF/USDF/ODS recognized compe ons from two different judges to qualify for each level, at the minimum scores listed below: Training Level, 60%; First Level, 60%; Second Level, 58%; Third Level, 56%; Fourth Level, 56%; PSG , 55%; Intermediare, 55%;Grand Prix, 55% OPEN DIVISION: 1. Defini on: open to all compe tors. 2. Each rider/horse combina on must earn at least two qualifying scores from any test of the level at two different USEF/USDF/ODS recognized compe ons from two different judges to qualify for each level, at the minimum scores listed below: Training Level, 62%; First Level, 60%; Second Level, 460%; Third Level, 58%; Fourth Level, 58%; PSG, 58%; Intermediare, 56%; Grand Prix 56% Please Note: Horse/rider combina ons may enter two levels, but may only ride in one division (Open, Adult Amateur, or Junior/Young Rider).

ABOUT THE FACILITY Arenas & Foo ng Six outdoor arenas (three compe on and three warm-up) with either hog fuel or sand foo ng. Indoor arena with sand foo ng will be used only if necessary. All compe on arenas are 20m x 60m. Children & Pets Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the show grounds. Please, for safety, no una ended children. Food Concessions on grounds. See website for details closer to the show date. Premium parking permits Very limited premium parking around show stabling is available for $75/weekend. ENTIRE rig must fit within space, both length and width, to ensure clear fire lane. Pass must be displayed in vehicle or trailer at all mes. Hookups/Camping Electrical service at the end of each stable row is available as a courtesy and on a first come, first served basis. Premium parking pass holders may run an extension cord during evening hours (7p.m. to 7a.m.). Please, out of courtesy to your neighbors, no generators. No charge for dry camping in the parking area outside of the white fence. Stabling Stall fee, $130/weekend for lower stabling or $160/weekend for rows E/F (both shows). Tack stalls, $130/weekend. Stalls are minimum 10x10 permanent box stalls with full doors, ini al bedding provided. Addi onal bedding may be purchased through the show office. Compe tors may arrive NO EARLIER than 1:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the show. Day stalls (single overnight) are $50 if available. Early arrivals or late departures must be prearranged through DevonWood Equestrian Centre directly. No exhibitor tents or canopies in the stabling area. AWARDS Trophies to first place and ribbons to sixth place for the open show on Friday. Awards to Champion and Reserve Champion and ribbons to tenth place for the Championship show. All horses and riders placing in the championship classes must appear for their presenta on ceremony to receive their awards and ribbons. There will be an overall High Point ribbon and award for the horse/rider combina on with the highest combined score for the open show on Friday. In the event of a e, the collec ve marks will determine placings. If the collec ve marks are equal, then the e shall remain unbroken per USEF DR 123. See “2015 ODS Futurity Rules” for specifics on Futurity Awards. Sponsorship Coordinator requests that all First Place, Champion and Reserve Champion winners sign a Thank You note to their respec ve sponsors; Thank You notes will be located in the Awards Booth. DIRECTIONS I-5 south from Portland/north from Salem to Sherwood/Tuala n exit, #289. West on Nyberg Road (Nyberg Road becomes Tuala n/Sherwood Highway) and go five miles to Highway 99W. Turn south and go three miles to 25033 SW Pacific Highway, on your right just past Brookman/Chapman Road.

It is the compe tor’s responsibility, however, to obtain ride mes from show secretary. Management reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reorder classes, add or subs tute judges, or make any other changes required. All volunteers who provide at least four hours of service will receive a special gi . Please indicate your preferred volunteer ac vity on your entry or check for available spots on our website and e-mail the volunteer coordinator. ODS FUTURITY RULES

1. To make a nomina on, fill out the official futurity entry form found on the next page. The futurity is open to all horses four to six years of age who have not shown at First Level or above (or equivalent test) prior to nomina on (including ODS League shows). 2. Both owner and rider of the horse must be ODS members in good standing at the me of the futurity; owner need not be the rider. Horse must be nominated each year and have fees paid each year prior to compe on. 3. Fees: Nomina on fee: $25, due by January 31 (a er Jan. 31, add $25 late fee). Futurity fee: $40, due by July 1 (a er July 1, add $40 late fee). The Futurity Nomina on fee and the Futurity fee are separate from the entry fee for the futurity classes. 4. The futurity consists of riding two USEF classes, Training Level Test 3 and First Level Test 1, at the ODS Championship Show. The point scores from both tests will be added and the highest total will determine the winner. Refer to ODS Championship Show Omnibus lis ng for futurity class entry fees and other show fees that may apply. 5. All fees go into a purse to be divided as follows: 1st place – 30%, 2nd place – 25%, 3rd place – 20% 4th place – 15%, 5th place – 5%, 6th place – 5% Addi onal ribbons will be awarded through 10th place. Checks will be mailed within 14 business days of the comple on of the show. Show commi ee has the right to adjust payouts if fewer than six horses compete. 6. Subs tu ons will be allowed, provided the subs tute horse or rider meets the requirements listed above. No subs tu ons once compe on has started. 7. Late nomina ons will be accepted up to the me of the Championship show’s closing date at double all fees (double nomina on payment and double futurity payment). 8. No refunds of nomina on/futurity/late fees. Refer to ODS Championship Show Omnibus lis ng for refund policy on futurity class entry fees and other show fees that may apply. 9. IMPORTANT - In an effort to be consistent with the ODS Championship Show rules, Futurity tests must be ridden from memory, and whips are not allowed.
