On behalf of the TPTA Board of Directors and our Middle Tennessee partners: the Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority, Regional Transportation Authority, Tennessee Department of Transportation, TMA Group/Franklin Transit Authority, Mid-Cumberland Human Resources Agency, City of Murfreesboro Rover and the Clarksville Transit System, we would like to welcome you to the 2013 Tennessee Public Transportation Association Conference. We are once again honored to host this year’s event and have put together an exciting conference where you will learn more about national and state issues affecting our industry and hear about new transit technology, equipment and products to help us continue to grow our industry while enjoying the beauty and history that is Music City. Our conference hotel, the new Omni Nashville, is located downtown next door to the new Music City Center convention center and is a short walk or bus ride from great dining and entertainment. We invite you to use the Nashville MTA’s bus system to travel around the city where you can enjoy great attractions including the Ryman Auditorium, Opry Mills Mall, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, and the Parthenon.
