Chairman’s Invitation This year the National Plasterers Council’s 28th Annual Conference will be in the “Big Easy”, New Orleans, Louisiana! Join us to celebrate another great year for the Council and help us build on our success. Of course, we will have a complete education slate, including more outdoor demonstrations. In our Business Track we will be featuring our new NPC Technical Manual, now in its 8th edition.

Our Installation Track will cover best practices during applications, waterproofing, a new twist on spot etching, and many other hot topics. This year’s Technical Track will cover cyanuric acid, pool torching, and much more! Every year the NPC Annual Conference draws over 80% of our membership! “Lagnaippe” (A little something extra!) Optional Tours (Add On) The National Plasterers Council is excited to offer something new this year - a post-conference Saturday Tour! In addition to our fun-filled Wednesday Optional Tour, we’ll be offering a “can’t miss” opportunity to stay a little longer and enjoy a trip back in time to the Antebellum South with our Saturday Plantation and Swamp Tour. Both tours include a delicious New Orleans style lunch. Space is limited to be sure to register soon! Our Wednesday Tour focuses on the history and excitement of New Orleans and Mardi Gras, with a short walking tour of the French Quarter and the famous tomb of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, followed by lunch (and adult beverages!) and a Mardi Gras mask-making workshop. Finish off with a private behind the scenes tour of Mardi Gras World’s float yard, costume shop and museum. On Saturday, take a day trip out of the city to explore two majestic examples of the gracious architecture and lifestyles of the pre-war south, followed by an exciting bayou tour on a fast flying swamp airboat! Genesis will be presenting ENGINEERING 211: Basic Fluid Engineering (16 hours of Instruction, 1.6 IACET CEU’s) ENGINEERING 211: Basic Fluid Engineering Tuesday/Wednesday Every watershape requires at least a basic understanding of the hydraulic principles that make it work.
