Furthermore, we are exclusive distributor in Denmark of Twin Disc marine transmissions and electronic control systems for diesel engines and transmissions for the maritime market. Finally, Nordhavn supplies generator systems for main power, emergency and harbour/emergency power for ships as well as industrial generator systems for companies and organisations with safety critical functions, e.g. CHP plants, hospitals, banks, airports, refugee camps, building sites or dairies. Auxiliary and emergency generator systems Many of the world’s largest super tankers are equipped with Nordhavn’s reliable diesel generator systems to secure the power supply Nordhavn’s generator systems are based on engines from Scania, Agco/ Sisu and Cummins with outputs ranging from 20 kW up to 1800 kW, configured to operate as auxiliary engines, emergency generators or combined harbour/emergency set-up. All generator systems are EIAPP certified and meet NOx emission rules with documented low fuel consumption. Nordhavn is often found on the maker’s lists of Danish and international ship owners, e.g. for newbuilding projects at large Asian shipyards. In addition to this, Nordhavn offers worldwide start-up and service support. Classification and test Nordhavn’s products meet all requirements from authorities and classification societies and comply with all important emission legislation. All installations are tested in Nordhavn’s test centre and delivered with certificates according to requirements from the classification society.

Hardeshøj Ballebro Færgefart Hardeshøj Ballebro Færgefart operates the ferry “Bitten Clausen”. The ferry crosses Als Fjord on its many daily tours between Jutland and Hardeshøj on the island of Als. Nordhavn has delivered a complete engine room package for a new built ferry including main engines, generator system, cooling and exhaust systems. Additionally, Nordhavn has delivered replacement engines, service and maintenance.
