Make your way to the Fairfield Inn, Dieppe, NB on your own and check-in. Overnight stay and parking at the hotel for 16 days is included in your tour package. Meet your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception at 7:00 pm.

Thursday, April 16th

Fly from the Moncton to New Orleans

Morning

Get ready for 16 days of history, culture and sun on your New Orleans and Southern Caribbean Cruise Tour. Check-out and meet your Tour Director in the lobby. We will have a motorcoach transfer to the Moncton International Airport at 4:30 am. We depart at 6:00 am on Air Canada with connections in Montreal and Toronto. Arrive in New Orleans at approximately 4:00 pm and transfer to Hampton Inn & Convention Centre, New Orleans. Remainder of the evening is on your own to relax or check out local entertainment.

New Orleans Touring

Morning

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet with your Tour Director. This morning is free to explore the area on your own. Browse Canal Street on your way to Bourbon Street, famed for its Mardi Gras celebration. This afternoon we have a guided tour of New Orleans This tour includes the Garden District, with its large, elegant mansions exemplifying many different styles including Greek Revival, Italianate, and Queen Anne Victorians. We go down St. Charles Avenue along the street car to see two of the most prestigious colleges in New Orleans; Tulane University and Loyola University. We also pass by Audubon Park, which is a 400-acre park located in uptown New Orleans. You will enjoy a history of New Orleans including the first settlers, religion, culture, and of course, Mardi Gras. A Visit St. Louis Cemetery #1, New Orleans' oldest City of the Dead will allow you to visit the tomb of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau. Step back in time with this historically accurate and educational tour. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner at Tujague’s Restaurant, the 2nd oldest restaurant in New Orleans! Located in the heart of the French Quarter and facing the historic French Market, Tujague's has retained its reputation for providing an unforgettable dining experience in the original Creole tradition. The rest of evening is free to explore or walk back to the hotel, only 30 minutes away.

This afternoon, we check out of our hotel and transfer to the Julia Street Cruise Terminal in New Orleans to board the Norwegian Dawn for your 12-Day Southern Caribbean Reposition Cruise. Enjoy the Sail Away Celebrations on top deck at 4:00 pm and then explore the ship and all it has to offer!

Enjoy some of the most pristine and free beaches in the Caribbean like Palm Beach. As the motto of the island states, it is “One happy Island”. Depart Aruba at 11:00 pm. Enjoy dinner onboard the ship or in port, it’s your choice.

Arrive in the beautiful island of Curacao at 8:00 am. The European influences are clear once you cross the Queen Emma Pontoon bridge, a moving walking bridge, to the main city. Enjoy the modern shops and restaurants of the area or visit a beach with some of the clearest blue waters with the most spectacular snorkeling or diving available. Depart Curacao at 5:00 pm. Enjoy dinner onboard the ship with the group.

Visit Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, US Virgin Island

Arrive in St.Thomas, US Virgin Island at 8:00 am. The town of Charlotte Amalie has one of the most breathtaking harbors in the world. Once home to pirates of long ago, today visitors find treasures of a different kind, for now beautiful beaches and bountiful duty free shopping are truly its claim to fame. Depart St. Thomas at 5:00 pm. Enjoy dinner onboard the ship with the group.
