NEW BRAUD VM & VL PLUS. A SENSIBLE AND EFFECTIVE WAY OF HARVESTING Since first introduced in 1975, BRAUD Grape harvesters have delivered the best harvesting quality and productivity. Today the new VM, VL PLUS series continue to be built around proven BRAUD design DNA, such as the SDC shaking system with flexible rear rod fixation and quick front engagement to softly shake and detach the grapes. The NORIA basket system revolutionized the mechanization of grape harvesting and continues to offer the most gentle treatment of the vine and harvested crop. This design provides extra efficiency during harvest and is a cost effective harvesting solution. Refined and developed, the proven BRAUD systems provide the best harvesting capability, combined to an efficient BRAUD harvesting concept – the revolution continues.

POWER & FUEL ECONOMY With FPT Industrial mechanical injection engines you get improved output and economy. With outputs of 128 hp, these 4-cylinder engines deliver more power and torque with lower fuel consumption. The new EMS (Engine Management System) allows efficient management of the engine rpm automatically and on demand.

ULTIMATE COMFORT & SAFETY Step up into the superb new BRAUD VM, VL PLUS cab. You will find it has been designed to fit you perfectly. Note how the seat and the steering wheel adjust to suit you. The standard armrest, with integrated joystick, provides easy access to the most used functions. Safe, quiet and comfortable, the cab complies with the stringent Code 4 European Machine Directive.

TREATED WITH CARE FROM THE BEGINNING 35 YEARS OF INNOVATION AND EXCELLENCE For over 30 years, our specialist teams at the Coëx factory in France, have designed, fine-tuned and produced, over 13,000 grape and olive harvesters, which constitutes a benchmark in terms of production quality, harvesting quality and response to multifunction expectations for growers throughout the world.

SDC SHAKING SYSTEM The BRAUD SDC is widely recognized as the best picking system. Each shaking rod is independent and mounted at the rear on a maintenance free flexible fixation. This fixation allows perfect control of the shaker action, with maximum flexibility, for gentle picking. The shaking rods can quickly and easily be activated or deactivated according to the fruit-bearing zone*. * Not available on VM3080 and VL5060.

NORIA COLLECTION NOW EVEN BETTER At New Holland BRAUD, respect for the vine, grapes and olives is a design priority. The proven NORIA with its polyurethane baskets, ensures careful treatment of the fruit and canopy without ground losses.

IMPROVED NORIA The Noria path has been redesigned, carrying over the BRAUD 9000 twin Noria aperture concept: this reduces the risk of pad blockage by half. Consequently, the working life of the new sliding pads is increased by two to three times.

CLEANING CONVEYOR The 450mm cleaning conveyors are optimized for better product distribution. As a result, the cleaning fans remove impurities more effectively. With BRAUD VM, VL PLUS harvesters you get better productivity and a cleaner product sample.

REDUCED AND SIMPLIFIED MAINTENANCE Maintenance of VM, VL PLUS harvesters is now even more simple. Advanced new components such as sealed bearings make ownership and maintenance of these machines more cost effective and straightforward. Useful features such as the shaker rack allow up to four spare shaker rods to be carried on board the machine.

EMS ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM In work, EMS will constantly monitor the demand on the engine. Depending on the conditions, on the road, or at the end of a row when the operator switches off the shakers and fans, EMS will vary the engine speed to precisely match demand but with no impact upon performance. This feature enables noticeable fuel savings without any operator input.

FPT PROVEN ENGINES The Braud VM, VL PLUS are powered with highly efficient FPT NEF 4 cylinder engines delivering 128 hp. These engines deliver maximum power and torque to cope with the toughest tasks and the most demanding terrain.

COMPACT DESIGN The BRAUD VM, VL PLUS harvesters are designed to be compact and manoeuvrable, and able to turn in tight spaces. The VL5000 PLUS models are adapted to a minimum 1.6 m row spacing, with a minimum ground clearance of 1.95 m. The VM3000 PLUS models are dedicated for above 1.3 m row spacings with a 1.8 m minimum overhead ground clearance.

CAB

QUIETER AND MORE COMFORTABLE BRAUD VM, VL PLUS harvester cabs are fully suspended and soundproofed for a smoother, more comfortable drive. Pressurized, heated and air-conditioned, the cabs are designed to offer optimum comfort and protection during harvest, spraying and other operations.

SETTING NEW SAFETY STANDARD The cab structure and chassis of VM and VL Plus harvesters are constructed to meet Code 4 of the new European Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE, the most stringent standard applicable. A seat belt, safety glass breaking hammer and electronic operator presence sensor are standard fittings. A fire extinguisher can be specified.

Attention to design detail includes improved in-cab storage positions. A fold-down laptop table, coat hook and elastic stowage net are standard.

New double cab work lights and lights to the front and rear of the picking head provide superb illumination in low light conditions.

The right hand hood mirror arm is mounted on a gas strut to allow it to swing out of harms way upon contact with any obstacles.

ELTEC MONITOR The ELTEC Monitor in-cab display has a user friendly interface to make setting machine functions faster and easier. The system offers full multifunction control to enable the handle and monitor to be used as the interface to operate a range of compatible equipment. This includes sprayers and multifunction implements. This saves the need for separate controls and reduces the time to switch between jobs.

SLIM ADJUSTABLE STEERING COLUMN A new narrow steering column, almost half the size of the previous generation, provides enhanced visibility. Three-way adjustment allows the steering column to be easily set to suit different operators.

HIGH COMFORT SEAT Fully adjustable, the standard high comfort seat offers high levels of support and excellent shock load protection.

REMOTE CAMERA READY The machines are fitted with one camera and a second can be added to enhance visibility and view machine functions. Images are displayed on a dedicated color monitor in the cab.

MULTIFUNCTION LEVER Integrated into the fully adjustable armrest, the new "all-in-one" multifunction lever controls travel speed and direction, manual leveling, the harvesting head and the control of multifunction implements.

DESTEMMER

GRAPE DESTEMMER All BRAUD VM, VL PLUS models can be fitted with a SOCMA patent destemmer. Fitted on the top of each hopper, the system delivers the best harvest quality.

OUSTANDING IMPURITY ELIMINATION All tests have proven the efficiency of the sorting performed by the New Holland destemmer-separator, licensed with a SOCMA patent, it is superior to any other system.

GAIN IN QUALITY, GAIN IN PRODUCTIVITY The destemmer is positioned so it does not compromise the hopper capacity. It has a high throughput for optimum productivity.

REVERSIBLE DESTEMMER When the destemmer is not required, its direction of rotation can be reversed from the cab, to direct all harvested material into the collection hoppers.
