Boyds - Affirmed the Interim Pastor contract between the Rev. Carrie Yearick and the Session of Boyds Presbyterian Church, effective January 8, 2017, for one year, at the following terms: -

Effective salary (Cash Salary and housing allowance): $ 68,000 FICA @ 7.65% of effective salary: $5,202 Board of Pensions @ 36.5% of effective salary: $24,820 Subtotal: $98,022 Continuing Education: $1,000 Total Package: $99,022 Travel @ IRS rate of 0.56 per mile or the prevailing IRS allowance, reimbursed upon receipt of voucher of expenses. The contract may be terminated by the Interim Pastor with 30 days written notice and by the Session with 60 days written notice. Burke - Affirmed Exec2Exec. Clearance for Burke PC to move forward with in-person meeting with candidates for Associate Pastor. Christ the King – Approved the contract between Christ the King PC and the Rev. Sam Atiemo as Organizing Pastor of Christ the King Church effective December 1, 2016, at the following terms: -

Clifton - Confirmed General Presbyter’s Exec2Exec. Jay Losher and Gaithersburg PC, for a period of one year beginning January 1, 2017 and running through December 31, 2017 at the following terms: -

Effective Salary: $3,133.57 (Pro-rated 12/18/2016 – 12/31/2016); $75,205.60 (2017) FICA @ 7.65% BOP rates for Medical and Pension Sick leave, Study leave, and Vacation at Presbytery Standard (October 6, 2016)

Grace Springfield – Sustained examination of the Rev. Benton Trawick, Candidate for Called Pastor, Grace Springfield PC and receive him as a minister member of National Capital Presbytery upon his ordination. Heritage – Approved the Interim Pastor contract between the Rev. Diane Hutchins and Heritage PC, for a period of six months beginning January 1, 2017 at the following terms: - Effective salary $ 36,000.00 - SECA Allowance @ 7.65 % $ 2,754.00 - Travel @ IRS Rate 2400 0.54 (÷2) $ 648.00 - Continuing ed/book allowance $ 500.00 - Retirement Contribution Allowance $ 3,600.00 - Total Salary and Benefits $ 43,544 .00 Immanuel – Concurred with the Examination Team’s sustaining of the exam of the Rev. Katie Strednak Singer, Associate Pastor Candidate, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, to grant permission for the session to call a congregational meeting to hear the report of the APNC, to approve the candidate for membership in the NCP (since the vote at the congregational meeting was affirmative), and to approve the terms of call as follows: - Effective salary (Cash salary, housing allowance, and moving expense allotment: $72,500 - FICA @ 7.65% of effective salary: $5,546.25 - Board of Pensions @36.5% of effective salary - Study leave expenses: $1,000 - Other professional expenses: $1,000 - Book allowance: $600 (Note: CTC failed to record the April e-vote in its May minutes, hence the need for this retroactive action.)

New York Avenue – Sustained examination of the Rev. Emily Rhodes Hunter, candidate for Ordination and Hospice Chaplain, NY Avenue PC, Washington, DC and received her as a member of National Capital Presbytery upon her ordination. North Alabama Presbytery - Concurred with the request from North Alabama Presbytery to grant an exception to G-2.0702 that was approved by the Chair of the commission on Ministry in order to permit Rev. Kim Mitchel, candidate for Stated Supply, to be ordained in National Capital Presbytery. Oaklands - Approved the request of the Session of Oaklands Presbyterian Church of Laurel, MD for Rev. Holly R. Ulmer to be Parish Associate. Presbyterian and Lutheran Services (PALS) – Sustained examination of the Rev. Jo Ann Staebler, candidate for Ordination and Stated Supply Pastor, to the Presbyterian and Lutheran Services (PALS) Church, Bealeton, VA, and received her as a minister member of National Capital Presbytery upon her ordination. Takoma Park – Affirmed the Temporary Supply contract between the Rev. J.C. Cadwallader and the session of Takoma Presbyterian Church, effective as of December 4, 2016. The contract is for part time work between 15-18 hours per week and will be compensated at a rate of $44.20 in accordance with the minimum standard set forth in the NCP Committee on Ministry Compensation and Personnel Policies for Pastors, 2017. Wheaton – Affirmed the successful preliminary examination of the Rev. Jin Choi, Wheaton Community Church, and approved him for temporary membership in the of National Capital Presbytery. Honorably Retired Status Motion Carried: To change the status of the Rev. Wayne Blaser to Honorably Retired. Motion Carried: To change the status of the Rev. Reimers, for her current ministry as chaplain for Capital Caring Hospice to be validated. Housing Allowance Motion Carried: - Approve the 2017 housing allowance designation of $10,000 for Rev. Fay C.
