Route 1 Visit Tarragona’s Hearth Route 1 offers visitors the possibility to discover the ancient part of the city and to learn how it has developed throughout the centuries.  2 h guided walking tour including: o City centre guided walking tour: a walk around the most well-known streets in the city including a stop for a description of the city landmarks (City Walls, the Cathedral, Casa Canals, etc.) o A visit to the model of Roman Tarraco ( if the tour takes place at the premise’s opening times) o “Tasty” chat: 

End of the tour with a taste of some countryside products and a local glass of wine or vermouth.

Route 2 Charming Tarragona Route 2 offers night tours of the city centre to discover the charm of its streets and illuminated buildings. We will enter the ancient part of the city in the evening to observe the changes produced by the lightning on the buildings. Route 3 How did the Romans entertain themselves? Route 3 discovers to visitors how leisure and entertainment in Ancient Roman Times was. We will visit two of the monuments which provided the best shows: the Roman Circus and the Amphitheatre. Visitors may be taken for a while to the moments where carriages, gladiators and beasts made go crazy the Ancient Tarraco inhabitants.  2 h walking guided tour including: o Guided tour of the Roman Circus and Amphitheatre. 

Route 4 Discovering Tarraco We will discover Tarraco city’s setting and where the remains of the old city are still preserved today with an exceptional guide, an archaeologist who will show you both the parts which can be seen and others which cannot be seen at first sight in the Ancient Roman buildings. These explanations will take place while visiting the most emblematic buildings: The City Walls, the City Model and the Historic Centre.  2 h guided walking tour including: o Guided tour of the Roman Circus and Amphitheatre. 

Route 5 Discovering Tarraco’s archaeology We will go into in the Roman material world, that is to say, into the objects the Ancient Romans left, collected by the MNAT. Strolling around its rooms we will discover everything the Romans left for us. We will also visit the Praetorium Tower and the Roman Circus, which will give us a vision of the grandeur of its architecture.

Route 6 A day tour around ancient Tarraco This could be the best way of getting into ancient Tarraco´s atmosphere: walking around its streets all day. This tour includes a full visit to the main city landmarks and a “vermouth” and lunch based on local products.  5h guided walking visit including: o Entrance to the Pretorium-Circus, Amphitheatre, City Walls, Ancient Audience Model, MNAT (optional) o Typical Catalan Vermouth. o Typical Catalan lunch.  Groups up to 20 people.

The price of the workshop includes an activity for groups up to 30 children adding the necessary amount of instructors according to the regulation on free time activities for children. Check our package prices for more than one workshop.

Painting as prehistorics This workshop will bring us closer to the most symbolic world of prehistoric people. We will discover how they used their paintings and what symbols they liked to paint. We will become authentic prehistoric artists for a few minutes.  You’ll be able to make your own rupestrian painting to take home.

Playing like the romans did We will playfully discover how the children of the Ancient Rome used to have fun. Were all the toys the same? Do we still play Roman games? Join us to find out the answer. Do you want to play with us?  We will be able to play with replicas of ancient Roman toys.

Become an archaeologist We will enter the exciting world of archeology by becoming real archaeologists for an hour, while we solve historical enigmas. We will learn about the tools archaeologists use, how they do research and the way they create knew knowledge.  We will create an archaeological site and will reproduce the digging process of a site.

Science is fun We will discover the world around us through experimentation. How are clouds formed? How can we see colours? We will solve a lot of unknowns in an easy and funny way.  Dynamic workshop where children will perform several experiments.

The Little Chef The Little Chef activity is aimed to introduce our students to the world of cooking. Through easy and nutritional recipes, students will learn the basics of cooking, English vocabulary and expressions in this field.  1 hour.  How to make an easy recipe.

Arts and crafts  Learning thousands of ways to create new art objects with simple tools available to everyone. The activity focuses on recycling and trying to give a second life to those unused objects.  You will be able to make a craftwork to take home.
