Observations/Teaching: You are expected to prepare a written evaluation for each observation. If time permits, an elementary music specialist will present an interest session: you will provide a written reflection of this presentation. All evaluations and reflections are to be included in the final notebook. IV. Peer Teaching A. Each student will be expected to prepare the following peer teaching assignments (see tentative calendar): 1. Teach 2 songs by rote, one of which must be taught using the Curwen hand signs; both songs must be unaccompanied, and the student should be able to give the tempo and pitch correctly and sing with appropriate vocal quality 2. Plan a piano accompaniment from a melody-only song for the 4th-5th grade level; sing and perform piano accompaniment in class V. Resource Lesson Plans: A. All lesson plans will be typed and organized according to grade level, PK-5. B.
