Under the name ROBUST products are available which are covered with a special lacquer and thus more resistant to surface damages. These products show a threefold higher resistance for example to scratches as standard Alu Brushed products (like 441). Further products are available upon request in finish ROBUST.

Unter der Bezeichnung ROBUST sind Produkte verfügbar, die mit einem speziellen Lack beschichtet und somit widerstandsfähiger gegen Oberflächenbeschädigungen sind. Diese Produkte weisen z. B. eine gegen Kratzer ca. 3-fach resistentere Oberfläche auf als die Standard-Strichmattprodukte (wie 441) . Weitere Dekore sind auf Anfrage in dieser Ausführung lieferbar.

HOMAPAL metal laminates are – as far as mentioned in the description overleaf – flame retardant as to the FTP-Code, annex 1 part 5 No. 2.1 and part 6 No. 2.1 and they comply with the FTP-Code part 2 for smoke-density- and toxicity criteria. The products carry the Mark of Conformity („steering wheel-logo“) as well as the US Coast Guard Approval no. 164.112/EC0736/118.083. If marked in the list of items as flame retardant products are certified by Lloyds Register and the „Seeberufsgenossenschaft Hamburg“. This quality is explicitly valid for the laminate only. HOMAPAL laminates can be bonded to standard base materials with conventional glues or adhesives which are also used for normal HPL (Exception: Do not use urea adhesives!). The max. processing pressure and temperature indicated for each product in our technical information must be observed.

HOMAPAL laminates can be sawn, drilled and milled with carbide-tipped cutting tools like all standard high pressure laminates (HPL). When processing stainless steel and Magnetic boards laminates please follow the detailed technical instructions.

Our products are covered by a protective foil to avoid damage during transport and processing. While HOMAPAL metal laminates with aluminium, copper or brass surfaces are recommended for vertical use in decorative areas only, stainless steel laminates can be used horizontally as well with restrictions. Only limited use is possible in areas of high humidity.

Our product range HOMAPAL HOLZ comprises 43 different decors including four Rivet Alliance and one Magnetic Board. The HPL laminates are available in three different finishes which are ready-to-use: with a silky shine, matt and matt with a structure. All surfaces are made of reconstituted veneers and come from lasting controlled cultivated land.
