APPLES Honeycrisp Apple Zone 4-7 Blooms Mid-Season, Ripens Late September An exciting apple that is exceptionally crisp & Juicy. Large 3” Fluorescent fruit, good texture & great crunch. Flavor is sweet, but well balanced. Excellent storage life, up to 7 months. Pollinate with Cortland, Goodland, Akane, McIntosh, Sweet Sixteen.

McIntosh Apple Zone 4-7 Blooms Mid-Season, Ripens Late September. A well-known older apple that has a sprightly flavor and a medium storage life. Nearly solid, bright red skin. Heavy bearer, good for eating & baking. Fruit tends to drop when ripe. Pollinate with Cortland, Goodland, Akane, Honeycrisp, Sweet Sixteen.

Pioneer Chinese Apricot Zone 4-8 10-15’ Clingstone. Blooms Late April, Ripens Mid July A late blooming apricot, ideal for higher elevations and climates prone to late spring frosts. Golden yellow fruits have a reddish blush, and are sweet, firm and juicy. Trees bear young and heavily. Called a “sweet pit apricot” as its pit is edible and tastes of almond. PEACHES Redhaven Peach Zone 5-8, 15-20’ Freestone, Blooms Early May, Ripens July-Early August One of the finest early peaches. Beautiful red and golden yellow. Flesh is firm, smooth textured and fine flavored. Fruit is medium size, round, uniform, and appealing. Good for freezing, canning, and shipping. Disease resistant. One of the hardier peaches. Fruit sets heavily, thinning is recommended to reach fruit size. Self fertile. Polly Peach Zone 4-7. 15-20’. Blooms in May, Ripens Mid-late August. Freestone. White skin with red blush. Freestone with white juicy flesh, excellent flavor, and high quality. Good home orchard variety, especially in colder climates. Self-fertile. Contender Peach Zone 4-8, 12-15’ Freestone, Blooms Early May, Ripens Mid/Late August A freestone peach with bright yellow flesh. Matches ‘Reliance’ in cold hardiness and tolerance of spring frosts. PEARS Anjou Pear Zone 5-8 , 8-12’. Blooms April-May, Ripens Mid-August Medium to large fruit. Smooth, thin, yellow-green skin. White, sweet flesh. Stores well. Vigorous upright tree. Used for fresh eating. Ripens best off the tree. Suggested to use Bartlett as a pollinizer, but Bosc will work as well. Bartlett Pear Zone 5-8, 15’. Blooms Early May, Ripens in September. Large size, golden yellow, wonderful quality. Buttery, juicy, highly flavored fruit. Excellent for eating fresh or canning. Vigorous grower and bears young. Pollinate with Bosc, Clapps Favorite, Seckel, or D’Anjou. Bosc Pear Zone 5-8, 15’. Blooms Early May, Ripens Early October An old time French variety with large, high quality, russeted fruit. The tender, juicy yellowish flesh has a smooth texture and the fruit is good for fresh use and canning. Fruit matures in early October. Vigorous grower. Pollinate with Clapps Favorite, Bartlett, Seckel, or D’Anjou. Patten Pear Zone 4-8, 15’. Blooms Early May, Ripens Mid September. Fruit is of good size and quality. Very tender and juicy, good eating quality. Best picked green and ripened in a cool location. Especially hardy.. A good pollinator for most other pear trees, especially Parker.

Parker Pear Zone 4-7. 15’ Blooms Early May, Ripens August. Open pollinated seedling of a Manchurian pear. Large, yellow-bronze fruit. Fine grained, tender and juicy. Upright and vigorous grower. Pollinator for Luscious(*Luscious will NOT pollinate Parker, Luscious is pollen sterile), Use Summercrisp or Patten as a pollinator for Parker. Tawara Asian Pear Zone 4-7. 15’ Blooms Early May, Ripens August-September. Fruiting Asian pear grown mainly for its edible fruit, has an upright oval form with glossy green foliage which looks great all season long. White flowers in the spring make way to the unusual dark tan to light brown fruit. Tastes like a cross between an apple and a pear, with a very crispy texture. Excellent for fresh eating or canning. Partially self-fruitful, but better crops are set when two different cultivars are planted. European or Asian pears can be used for pollination, such as Seckle, Bosc, or Bartlett.
