Outreach Bereavement Support Group

Catholic Charities Annual Appeal

Gesu, Communion of Saints, St. Dominic parishes and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care of Cleveland offer a Bereavement Support Group for those who have experienced a loss. Join others who share in the Faith and learn about the symptoms of grief, what you can expect to experience and new ways to reclaim moments of contentment and happiness while honoring those who have died. The group will meet Tuesdays through May 26. We will meet at Communion of Saints, 2175 Coventry Road, Cleveland Heights, from 6:30-8:00 pm. Call Corrie Taylor at (216) 401-1569 or email [email protected] if you are interested or have questions.

Winter storms made it difficult for faith-filled people to respond to this year’s Catholic Charities Appeal in their parish setting, so during the weekend of May 16-17 all parishes are conducting a second in-pew appeal on behalf of Catholic Charities. Won’t you answer the call of our beloved Pope Francis to open your hearts to live joyfully and generously and support the Catholic Charities Annual Appeal? Gifts may be made by filling out an in-pew pledge form, responding to the letter or email or telephone solicitations, or directly by calling Meghan McGuan at (800) 869-6525 ext. 1049. Gifts made on the in-pew pledge form or online at www.catholiccommunity.org/challenge qualify for the $100,000 Challenge Grant - new and increased gifts will be doubled. Thank you and may God bless us all with his enduring joy!
