No Power Required

Premier's solar-powered LED (light emitting diode) lights are extremely rugged and designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions with zero maintenance. They also require no battery replacement, no bulb replacement, and no servicing during the term of their installation (up to five years, depending on location). Premier Solar-Powered Marine Lights are available with green, red, amber, white or blue light output with either a fixed ("steady on") or one of four flashing sequences. All marine lights come with a 3-year warranty. They are designed to install in minutes and operate flawlessly for up to five years without any maintenance or servicing. No wiring, no battery or bulb replacement, no worries... Our marine LED lights have been engineered to be extremely durable and reliable while installed nearly anywhere on earth. They will survive extended exposure to salt water and salty air, extreme swings in temperature (from -40° C / -40° F to +80° C / 176° F), shock, heavy vibration and UV degradation.

Model 501

Model 601

Model 701

The Model 501 is the world's most advanced, fully integrated solar-powered LED one nautical mile (1.8km) marine hazard-marking light. It installs in minutes and requires no maintenance or servicing for up to five years. The 501 automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn

The Model 601 is a true commercial navigation light designed for use where a range of 1-2 nautical miles is required. The 601 installs in minutes using three screws or bolts, is completely integrated and self-contained. Its unique encapsulated polycarbonate and polymer design ensures the unit is completely waterproof and requires no maintenance or servicing for its entire lifespan of up to five years.

The Model 701 is the world's most advanced, fully integrated solar-powered LED three-nautical-mile (5.4km) navigation light. It installs in minutes, is completely self-contained and requires no maintenance or servicing for the life of its power storage pack (up to 5 years). The 701 is intended for use in regions where solar illumination is greater than 1.5 hours of winter sunlight.

Applications The 601 has been used around the world for all types of industrial and commercial applications requiring a 2-mile strobe light. The 601 is ideal for use on navigation, research and mooring buoys, channel & azard markers, marinas & docks, offshore structures, dredging sites, aquaculturer and more. The 601 comes with one of five flash rates including steady-on.

Applications Originally designed and built under contract with the U.S. Coast Guard, the 701 is the first lantern using light emitting diodes (LEDs). Solar-powered, self-contained and completely sealed, the Model 701 has been used for marking navigation buoys, port and harbor entrances, breakwaters -- any marine application requiring a marker light with three nautical miles of visibility.

Applications The Model 501 is a multipurpose solar powered marine light suitable for virtually any navigation or hazard marking requirement up to a 1 nautical mile range. Available in green, red, amber, white and blue output with one of five standard flash patterns, this model has been used for lighting applications as diverse as marking mooring buoys, research buoys, dredging lines, private and commercial marinas & docks, breakwaters, swim rafts and aquaculture farm perimeters, dredging operations, etc.

Our marine solar LED lights feature a number of proprietary technical innovations and competitive advantages. Each of the following light components, when combined, create the most advanced solar-powered navigation and safety lights available today.

Our lights use LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) to create light instead of traditional incandescent bulbs. LED lights are about 100 times more efficient than an incandescent bulb. The lifetime of an LED is about 100,000 hours (27 years assuming the LED is on continuously for 10 hours per day). This is about 20 times longer than the best incandescent bulbs (5,000 hours). One of the more important advantages of LED's is that they are extremely durable. Vibration or shock easily breaks the fragile filament in an incandescent bulb, but LED's are completely solid-state technology and are virtually indestructible!

Our lights use a crystalline solar panel originally designed for the US Armed Forces. It has been tested under extreme environmental conditions and is up to 14% more efficient than the amorphous (6-7%) solar panels used in consumer solar products like calculators. Our solar panel is integrated into the top using a proprietary encapsulated polymer dome design. This dome provides a number of benefits: 1. Increases the solar panel's effectiveness at drawing in light. The solar panel does not need to directly face the sun to draw the energy required to charge the light's battery system. 2. Enables the Solar Light to be a completely integrated, sealed and compact unit, without external connectors or wires that can deteriorate with age. 3. Sealed in the polymer, the solar panel is extremely shock resistant, UV resistant, and will not crack or fade in the sun.

Our solar lights use rechargeable batteries to store the power . Specifically, the lights use a special type of sealed lead-acid rechargeable battery that provides a large energy capacity for its size and delivers extremely reliable power output over a long period of time. The lead-acid batteries used: 1. Has been refined over more than three decades, and has an extremely impressive record of reliable operation in remote areas and in multiple climates over a long period of time. 2. Offer excellent value and quality, stable voltage and up to 3 weeks backup storage. 3. Have the widest operating temperature range versus other battery technology. 4. Offer an operating life of up to 8 years. 5. Are particularly suited to marine applications where the battery is used often, but is not deeply discharged before recharging.
