How do I recharge a MOBIUS Battery Pack? NOTE: Battery Packs must be charged to FULL prior to initial use. Option 1: MOBIUS POWER Charging Station Includes 2-Battery or 4-Battery Charging Stations Once the Charging Station is placed and plugged in to an outlet, slide a Battery Pack into any open slot making sure the FLASHING GREEN indicator light turns on. The charge cycle is complete when the indicator light is illuminated SOLID GREEN. Option 2: MOBIUS POWER Holster Charger Use of the Holster Charger requires two connections. One end connects to the Battery Holster on your mobile cart and the other to an AC electrical outlet. After you connect the Holster Charger to both the Battery Holster and the electrical outlet, the LCD will read ‘AC Powered’. Charge status can be checked by unplugging the Holster Charger from the wall outlet and reading the ‘Time Remaining’ on the LCD, or use the LEDs on the Battery Pack. Please refer to next page for the explanation of how to read the LEDs on each individual MOBIUS POWER Battery Pack. NOTE: The 2 charging options listed above are optional purchases. Your facility could have one or both options available. HELPFUL HINTS TO MAXIMIZE YOUR RUNTIME: Plan Ahead! Always keep your extra Battery Packs in the Charging Station when not in use so that your mobile workstation will run uninterrupted 24/7. Save Power! Below are 2 options to increase runtime: • Set your computer to a power saving mode after a short period of inactivity • Dim the screen brightness on your computer monitor using the quick dim attenuator switch The quick dim attenuator switch may not be an available option on all computers or laptops. The picture shows the power saving dimmer feature on the Stinger AIO Core Duo computer. If you need immediate assistance, please contact Stinger Medical C.A.R.E. Department at 888-909-8906.

How do I check the status of a Battery Pack? •

Each Battery Pack has a “fuel gauge” to indicate charge level/capacity.

You may check a Battery Pack’s charge capacity at any time.

To check the remaining charge on a Battery Pack, press and release the white circle on the Battery Pack’s fuel gauge display (Fig 1).

The charge level is indicated in 25% increments by the number of status lights appearing between the E-Empty and F-Full. After 3 seconds, the status lights will turn OFF.
