MOBILE AUCTION BIDDING GUIDE Place auction bids online using your smart phone. Follow these instructions to start mobile bidding:

Follow the text message you received at check-in, scan this QR code with your phone or go to this web address: gevatc2016.ggo.mobi Make sure your bid number is correct: it’s on the back of your program. If it isn’t, just type in the correct number and confirm your name. Browse packages by category or look at them all at once. When you find one you like, simply hit the bid button and place your bid. If you’d like some help or have questions, please find a Bid Buddy in an orange shirt. They’ll be happy to help you!

A U C T I O N P R OTO C O L Silent Auction bidding closes at 8:00pm on the day of the event. At the conclusion of the auction, the highest bid on a particular item is the winner, as determined by the Greater Giving mobile bidding software. This may be a bidder who was present at the event or by proxy. If you have the highest bid and are in attendance on June 3, 2016, please pay for your items and take them with you at check-out at the end of the performance. You may pre-register your credit card at check-in to speed check-out. There will be no early check-out. If you are not present when the auction closes on June 3, you will be notified of your winning bid within two weeks and are required to pay for your item by July 1, 2016. If you are unable to take your winning items with you the night of the event, we will arrange a time for you to pick-up the item(s). Geva is unable to provide delivery of auction items. We will accept payment for auction items via check, cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All auction sales are final, and we regret that there cannot be refunds or exchanges for items purchased. Geva warrants neither the quality nor the value of the items and services auctioned. Descriptions of items have been made with every reasonable effort to be accurate. The auction items are sold “as is” and without warranty or representation of any kind as to the correctness of the description or quality of fitness for any purpose. The items in our auction packages are grouped together merely as a way of presenting items that may sell well when combined or items that follow a consistent theme. This does not imply that the items must be used in this way. Geva is not responsible for items that are misplaced or for items that have expired once in your possession. By his/her purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against Geva, those assisting in the conduct of this auction and the donors of the items and services. As per IRS regulations, Geva must inform the buyer that only the amount paid for an item over the stated market value will be tax deductible. The value of each item is a good faith estimate of equivalent items and present day market value. Geva Theatre Center is not responsible for any online, messaging, data plan or other charges you may incur with your participation throughout tonight’s event. Guests are not required to use personal devices to participate in the auction. Bid Buddies are available to bid on behalf of guests.
