Mobile Apps One of the new great ways to communicate to your passengers is through the use of mobile apps for iPhone and Android phones. TransitGraphics can develop these applications that allow you to connect to your customers and offer them a variety of information accessible 24 hours a day.

Social media in public transport TransitGraphics helps clients build relationships through social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Social media in public transport is becoming extremely popular and proving to be very effective when maintained correctly. By acquiring a media platform such as Twitter, you can inform your customers of break news including service changes, breakdowns, strikes, create events and advertisements. It will allow you to get closer to your customers and ensure news feed is available to be pushed at all times. Currently, there are 830 million Facebook users and 250 million Twitter users worldwide. TransitGraphics will help you reach your customers and can coach your team, or yourself, how to communicate with your customers through social media.

The mobile apps can have real-time bus information (if you fit your buses with GPS units) or planned timetables (that work off your printed timetables). These programmes access Google Transit (where possible) which predict intermediate running times for services, fare approximations and much more. It also allows you the ability to stream instant news updates directly to customers through an easy interface.
