overview make me dugouts have an in-house design service which means we can design a bespoke players shelter or canopy for your sports pitch or stadium. bespoke canopies can be used to create large players dugouts with cantilever and floor fixed designs available. we have supplied bespoke dugouts for a range of different situations including in-stand tiered dugouts, large 20 metre wide players dugouts and sports dugouts accommodating stepped areas. in addition to the bespoke dugout framework we also work up various designs for seating, litter storage and storage benches within the dugouts to make the most of the available space. all our bespoke team shelters and dugouts can be customised using a range of vinyl covered cladding in either colour or frost finishes and applying corporate branded sponsorship logos, messages and panels. Bespoke dugouts standard specification includes:

5mm thick clear PetG cladding supplied as standard, thinner cladding available on request

welded end caps for a high quality finish – no plastic bungs

galvanised 50mm x 50mm SHS frame, larger sections available

framework can be powder coated using standard or specific RAL colours

choose your finish our entire dugout range uses 50mm x 50mm mild steel box section for the framework, we can however adapt to suit specific requirements. our main finishes for our dugouts are as follows; galvanised only, galvanised and powder coated or brushed stainless steel. all 3 finishes have their pros & cons and associated costs. galvanised only

choose your seating our custom designed bespoke dugouts can incorporate many different styles of seats to accommodate various numbers of players and staff within the dugout according to the seat centres. various seats we can supply have different designs and options through colour choice and personalisation. club or sponsor logos can b added to seat pads using both screen printing and embroidery; our 3D visuals will give a realistic indication of the layout and colours prior to manufacture to help get sponsors involved.

the kia oval
Surrey cricket club players dugout we were contacted by Surrey Cricket Club to supply a covered shelter for the players as part of the area where Sky Sports run their interviews. the players dugout needed to cover a large area of existing tip-up seats, 160 seats in total. we initially worked up two designs based off some general dimensions emailed over to us. Following discussions at the club the design was chosen. We arranged a site survey to firm up the measurements and enable us to create an accurate CAD drawing which following signoff we then used to manufacture from. following a 4 week manufacture period the bespoke dugout was delivered to site and installed by our installation team ready for the arrival of the England cricket team for England v Sri Lanka One Day International, see www.kiaoval.com/1st-fixtures for details.

bespoke dugout range 2014
dunfermline afc we were contacted by Dunfermline AFC to create a pair of bespoke football dugouts for their pitch side technical area at the East End Park Stadium. the dugouts needed to incorporate two rows of seats, the rear row with tip-up plastic shell seats and the front row with high-end sports seats. we worked on various 3D visuals to give options on colours, size and styling before the final decision was made. our in house design service enabled us to create various graphic options for the vinyl’s and padded vinyls to be to help advertise Dunfermline’s sponsor SRJ Windows for maximum impact. the sports seats to the front row were supplied with two embroidered motifs to the head rest and shoulder part of the seat. our on-site installation team carried out the assembly of the dugouts, tip-up seats and sports seats giving Dunfermline a fully professional service from start to finish. our guys certainly appreciated the hospitality they received from the staff at the club! we wish Dunfermline the best of luck for the coming season 2014/2015.

bespoke dugout range 2014
crawley town fc we were contacted by Crawley Town to design and manufacture some new integrated dugouts to fit into their existing allocated space at Broadfield Stadium. 3D visuals enabled us to showcase different angles so Crawley could get a clear understanding of exactly how the proposed new dugouts would look. the final design was a combination of square and curved frames to fit in the available space whilst giving the maximum cover for seated players and staff. we included frost vinyl’s to the rear and side panels of the dugout to ‘hide’ the stepped area behind the technical area. we utilised our 'BS premium tip-up' seat with screen printed logo for the Home dugout and the equivalent non-padded version for the Away dugout. astro turf was professionally laid to help keep the area neat and clean, the selection of yarns, colours and tints available meant the clubs new logo could be included and matched perfectly.
