MIPP Technical Datasheet Modular Industrial Patch Panel Application The MIPP is a termination panel for cables that need connection to active equipment such as switches. Thanks to the modular design, the MIPP can be extended to create a large single patch panel, to which both fiber and copper cables can be connected. The following features apply: • Resilient for protection against harsher environments; • Mount on DIN rail or on optional wall mount plate; • Temperature range from -20ºC to +70°C; • Predicted lifetime > 30 years; • UL 1863 approval.
Connections Optical duplex adapters: LC, SC, ST and E-2000™ RJ45 Keystones: Cat 5E, Cat 6+ and Cat 6A (shielded and unshielded) RJ45 Couplers: Cat 6A (shielded and unshielded)
Construction The MIPP exist out of an aluminium housing which can be max 182mm wide. This depends on the steel modules that are chosen. Single modules are 30mm wide and double modules are 60mm wide. In the figures below the dimensions of a MIPP with three single modules (SC adapters, LC adapters and RJ45 keystones) are visible. Both module and housing are powder coated.
