When the mutilated corpse of a young gay man is found in a smart Bondi beach apartment, Detectives Tori Lustigman and Nick Manning are assigned the case. Is this brutal murder a domestic, a robbery gone wrong, or a gay hate crime? With mounting evidence to suggest the perpetrator has killed before, they start digging through old investigations. The discovery is shocking. In the ‘80s and ‘90s they uncover up to 80 possible murders of gay men in New South Wales – unexplained deaths, ‘suicides’ and disappearances. Many of these killings were linked to youth gangs targeting and beating up gay men, a blood sport that went largely unpunished. Is this a result of shoddy police work, indifference, or something far more sinister – prejudice in an era of panic over HIV and AIDS? When Tori was 11, her teenage brother disappeared after a family fight, one that Tori blames herself for. This event continues to haunt her thoughts. As Tori’s fascination with the case turns to fixation, Nick starts to question her motives and judgement. Is she compromising the current case? Was her brother’s drowning twenty-five years ago actually a murder? With key witnesses reluctant to talk, fearing their identities will be exposed and still wary of perceived homophobia within the police force, the investigation stalls. Meanwhile, the killer circles in and witnesses end up dead. But instinct pays off, and by reopening the cold cases, the detectives are finally able to reveal the truth about the past murders, bringing closure to the victim’s families, and bringing the killers to justice. 1 x 60’ On May 31st 1916, the British Royal Navy precipitated an apocalyptic headto-head battle with the German Imperial fleet. 151 British warships – many the most modern in Britain’s Grand Fleet and manned by sailors from Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand – confronted the German High Seas Fleet’s 99 ships. This was supposed to be Britain’s second Trafalgar. Instead, the Battle of Jutland was the bloodiest day in the history of the Royal Navy. During 12 chaotic and violent hours, over 6,000 Allied sailors died and 14 giant British warships sank to the bottom of the North Sea. Why did so many men die? Why were so many British ships lost? What was it like to fight on that day? Where exactly are the ships today? A century on, historian Dan Snow, engineer Dr Shini Somara and Dr Nick Hewitt of the National Museum of the Royal Navy join forces to try to uncover the answers to those questions – and to commemorate and honour the sacrifice of those many thousands who died during the world’s biggest sea battle. In the course of their hands-on investigations, they discover that the Battle of Jutland – for long regarded an Allied disaster - was in fact a pivotal moment in WW1. Jutland, it turns out, is the forgotten battle where the First World War was won - and lost. True North Productions for BBC Two

1 x 60’

Lucy Worsley traces the forgotten and fascinating story of the young Mozart’s adventures in Georgian London. Arriving in 1764 as an eight year old boy, life wasn’t easy. With the demands of a Royal performance, the humiliation of playing keyboard tricks in a London pub, a near fatal illness and finding himself heckled on the streets, it was a lot for a child to take. But London would prove pivotal as the young Mozart made his musical breakthrough here. Lucy reveals that it was on British soil that Mozart composed his first ever symphony and explores his experiences in London. But why did this incredible achievement end in suspicion, intrigue and accusations of fraud?

My Baby, Psychosis & Me reveals the frightening rollercoaster journey of two mums, for whom childbirth triggers ‘Postpartum Psychosis’, one of the most severe forms of mental illness. It is a condition most expectant mothers and their families have never heard of. But around one in every 500 births can lead to the sudden onset of a psychotic episode. New mothers are overwhelmed by extreme low or high moods, strange and dangerous thoughts, paranoia, delusions such as the belief that they have given birth to Jesus or the Devil. This is the untold story of what it means to battle this terrifying condition. Filmed over six months, we closely follow the intense experiences of two women, Jenny and Hannah, and their families, as they are cared for at Winchester’s Mother and Baby Unit.
