Mineral Therapy Patient App (to replace the patient questionnaire)

How to Use Guide

Enter name When the Blackmores MT app is downloaded and opened for the first time, the patient will be asked to enter their name. As soon as the “Enter your name” field is pressed the device’s keyboard will appear.

Assessment User agreement Assessment can be accessed from the bottom tab bar. Upon the first use, the patient will need to view the disclaimer and provide some information before they start. The patient can tap on “User agreement” to view the disclaimer. Here it contains the necessary information for the patient. Tapping on “Let’s start”, the patient can proceed from here.

Assessment Enter Healthcare Practitioner’s Contact Upon tapping on “Let’s start”, the patient will land on another screen where they enter their Healthcare Practitioner’s details. There are two ways to do this: 1. Enter the email address [email protected] into the “Enter email address” field. Or 2. Select “Start search” to search for their details. or

Assessment Select gender Select gender to proceed.

Settings Viewing and editing the Healthcare Professional’s details The patient can view the existing Healthcare Professional’s details by selecting “Settings” in the bottom tab. To edit these details or change to a different Healthcare Professional, select “Edit”. My details are: Frank Riegel Natural Therapies Caloundra QLD 4551 Ph. 0412566337 Email [email protected]

The screen on the left shows a Healthcare Professional with all their details entered. If the patient has only entered an email address for their Health Practitioner’s details, they will see the screen on the right.

Settings Viewing and editing the Healthcare Professional’s details After selecting “Edit” the patient will be taken to a form where they can edit the details of the HCP. The patient can select each field which will bring up the device’s keypad to change the details. Or they can search for a different Healthcare Professional by scrolling down and selecting “Start search”.

Assessment Select region / Body map Once the set up is done, the patient will land on the “Select Region” screen. Patients can focus in on a particular area of ailment in the body by using the Body Map. Once the questionnaire for a region is completed, the dot will change colour so the patient can track their progress.

The image will vary according to gender. The left shows female, right, male.

Assessment Region Tapping on a particular region will highlight the area. The patient can then tap on “Start Assessment” to begin. Next, the patient is presented with a series of relevant questions devised to assess their condition and provide suitable information for a healthcare practitioner to interpret. The patient can tap on “Save” anytime during the questionnaire to save their progress.

Assessment Region The patient can quit the assessment at anytime by selecting “Quit”. Doing so will prompt the patient to save their progress.

Assessment Finishing the assessment Once the full body assessments are completed, the patient will land on this screen. Their result will be sent to the nominated email address automatically. From there the patient needs to contact the healthcare practitioner to book a consultation to receive their results and any recommendation for Mineral Therapy. Tapping on “Contact now” the patient can see the healthcare practitioner’s details, where they can make a call from here. When all the assessments are completed the patient is allowed to retake them. Tapping on Retake the patient will be brought back to the body map and start new sets of assessments. The patient can also switch on the “Retake Assessment reminder” to remind themselves to re-do this each month.

Assessment Sending the result to the Healthcare Professional This screen shows what the healthcare practitioner will see in their email. The healthcare practitioner will receive an email for the patient’s assessment result with detailed questions and answers from the patient’s assessment. The suggested minerals to prescribe will be clearly listed out below each question.

History The History can be accessed from the bottom tab menu. This section contains the archive of all the completed assessments with date stamps. It gives both patients and healthcare practitioners a clear summary of when these assessments were completed.

Stores Stores can be accessed from the bottom tab bar. It allows patients to locate stores across Australia where Mineral Therapy and Blackmores retail brands are available. The patient can use the search bar on the top navigation menu and and type in the area that they want to search. This is supported by predictive search. Only one area can be searched at a time.

Stores Once a search is done. The stores will be displayed as a pin on the map. Tapping on a pin, a call out box will display the name of the store. Tapping into the call out box will show the store details. Some stores may have a red info icon if Blackmores Professional may not be available. Tapping on “Directions” at the top right will launch either Apple Maps or Google Maps to show directions on how to get to the selected store. Tapping on the phone number from the store details page will allow the user to make a call to the store.

Reminders Reminders includes the following sections: My Reminders Set custom reminders of any kind. For instance, patients can add reminders for each mineral taken. The screen on the right shows when no custom reminder was added. Assessments Remind me to complete - The app will periodically remind the user of any incomplete questionnaires they have started. Patients can set questionnaire reminders in 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month time. Retake assessments - Reminder to retake assessments after completed. Patients can set to be reminded in 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months or 6 months time. Patients can slide on switches to turn On/Off each reminder. Tapping the “+” will add a new reminder.

Reminders Adding reminders Tapping on the “+” button on top right, the patient can add a new reminder (i.e.. reminder to take a new mineral supplement). The patient can enter details as follows: • • •

Name of the reminder (i.e. a mineral) The days to repeat in a week The times the alert activates (i.e. time to take the mineral)

The “Name” field is a free text field where patients can type in any minerals names regardless if they are from Blackmores.

Reminders View and edit reminders The My Reminders will be listed on the Reminders screen after being added. Tapping on “Edit” on top left, the patient can edit the My Reminders list. Tapping on the red “-” button, the patient can delete the reminder from the list. Tapping on Done to finish editing.

Reminders View and edit reminders Tapping on an item on the My Reminders, the patient will enter the Edit mode. Tapping on the name field, the patient can edit the name of the mineral. Tapping on Repeat, the user can set the days to repeat in a week.

Reminders Delete a reminder Slide left on an individual time to remove the particular time and then select “Delete”.

Reminders Alert notifications The My Reminders alerts will present as a push notification on the selected date and time.
