Slits may not extend more than three inches above the knee.

SWEATERS AT A GLANCE:

Wear solid colors. Keep the fit appropriate. Always wear standard dress underneath. Sweatshirts, sweaters, and sweater vests must be worn over a standard dressapproved shirt, must be a solid color or school approved, and must be appropriately sized in the shoulders, sleeves, and length. All must be pullover or cardigan style. Sweaters and sweatshirts may not be sleeveless or cap sleeved. Shrugs and short vests or

sweaters that end above the waistline are not allowed. Students may wear sweatshirts or hoodies with official college logos or themes. Clothing may not be tight, form fitting, or oversized (bottom hem may not extend more than four inches below the belt). Tops and bottoms may not be the same color.

JACKETS AT A GLANCE:

Wear solid fleece or light jackets in the classroom. Store other coats in lockers. With the exception of dusters or trench coats (which are never allowed), students may wear any outerwear garment while traveling to and from school. However, while in the school building students may only wear principalapproved school jackets, solid-color fleece, or solid-color lightweight jackets. All outerwear must be worn over a standard dress shirt and must be appropriately sized.

Coats and jackets worn to school that are not approved must be taken off upon entering the school building and remain in the student’s locker. Heavy, oversized, or denim coats and jackets are not allowed in the building. Students may wear sweatshirts or hoodies with official college logos or themes.
