INTRODUCTION

Multi Fabrindo Gemilang (Multifab), founded in 1983, is one of the most prominent national companies in Indonesia that provides services for construction and fabrication projects. Our Founder, Arifin Panigoro, who had established Medco Energi Internasional –the largest publicly listed energy company in Indonesia- built strong foundation for the Multifab to focus in the area of oil and gas industry, power generation, and petrochemical businesses in the country with the followings facilities: •

MULTIFAB‘s main business comprises of two divisions: CONSTRUCTION and FABRICATION. We continually strive to improve our performance with particular focus on our target market in construction and fabrication sectors. To achieve this goal we have developed QUALITY POLICY that put forward highly continuous quality control of our works.

A GLIMPSE OF CONSTRUCTION For the last 20 years our CONSTRUCTION Division has been growing steadily as a result of strong demand in energy sector in Indonesia. Our main client, State Electrical Company (SEC), has assigned Multifab to build numerous high voltage power transmissions and substation in Indonesia as part of SEC’s 10,000 MW development program all over the country. Yet, the recent exponential growth of mobile telecommunication usage in the country has also given us business opportunity to construct its telecommunication towers. The CONSTRUCTION Division conducts its services through Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management team. The Engineering team ensures our delivery is preceded by proper and comprehensive design work, and engaged processing tool, that enable our team to assemble all different functional into a designated product that had been planned. For the maximum return of our client’s investment, we set up the Procurement team, who in charge to gather all procurement resources, system, market knowledge and volume leveraged pricing from around the world. Multifab offers a one stop solution for its clients. The function is carried out by our Construction Management team that controls and manages overall planning, coordinate with different units, from the concept until project completion. The team aims to meet our client’s requirement in order to build a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on timely basis and fulfill the required world class quality.

FABRICATION SCOPE OF SERVICES MULTIFAB’s scope of services covers all aspects of the fabrication of process equipment, including steel structures, which would require high engineering quality, fabrication and erection workmanship.

PROCUREMENT PT. MULTIFAB provides service for procurement of equipment, material and sub-contractors. The services will include equipment purchasing or rental, vendor short-listing or qualification, material/equipment, procurement of import as follows :

FABRICATION MULTIFAB is ready to undertake an integrated fabrication work, starting from the engineering, through procurement of materials, fabrication and inspection of equipment, up to the installation of the process equipment and steel structures.

FABRICATION FACILITIES LOCATION MULTIFAB is operating at its own yard, a 30.000sqm premises in the Kakatau Steel’s Heavy Industry Estate in Cilegon, Banten. The location is also easily accessible through the Jakarta – Merak highway, and also from the sea through the Cilegon public harbour (± 5 Km from MULTIFAB’s shop)

LAY-OUT Within the above mentioned yard, one will find:

1. WORKSHOP • WOKSHOP I In this 8.000sqm (266m X 30m) workshop the major equipment are erected and built for Pressure Vessel, plate works and heavy steel structure. The Lay-Out of which was especially designed by THYSSEN to ensure smooth flow of material and therefore increase work efficiency. The handling equipment used 3 overhead cranes (2 units with capacity 10 Tons and 1 unit with capacity 20Tons). • WORKSHOP II In this 1000sqm (85m x 12M) workshop is built for fabrication of light steel structure and tower activity. This workshop is also equipped with material handling equipment consisting of 1 unit of overhead crane, capacity 5Tons.

• WORKSHOP III In this 408sqm (34m x 12m) workshop is built for fabrication of Transmission Line accessories. It is equipped with material handling equipment consisting of 1 overhead crane with capacity 4.5tons capacity. • WORKSHOP IV In this 240sqm (20m x 12m) workshop is built for fabrication of special material (Alloy, Duplex and Stainless Steel)

2. INDOOR STORAGE A covered storage yard is available to store raw material and products which would require protection and security.

3. OPEN STORAGE An open area of 5.000sqm is used to stock weather-proof raw material before being fabricated.

4. ASSEMBLING AREA (OUTDOOR) This 12.000sqm area is used to assemble and inspect of finished equipment.

5. PAINTING AREA This area of 650sqm is used for sand blasting and panting activity.

6. GENERAL AMENITIES A total of 4.000sqm areas are being used for office building parking, training center, first aid room, etc.

7. EQUIPMENTS As a trusted company, our workshops are supported with reliable equipment, such as three roll bending machine, NC plasma cutting, welding boom and other supporting equipment. we are also supported by third parties in the provision of equipment.
