Students will begin to differentiate between fiction and non-fiction as general genres. Students enhance their reading skills by using Adobe Photoshop Elements to create visual representations of Dolch words used in sentences. Students turn their creations into flash cards so they can continue to practice recognizing Dolch sight words to improve reading fluency. The Information Literacies Curriculum presents the process and essential skills for embedding information literacy strategies across all areas of the curriculum. Information Literacy Standards referenced in each student lesson are from the American Library Association and Association for Educational
