We send out 1.5 million copies of Adventist World per month to more than 160 countries. In North America, the journal includes additional pages that offer tremendous advertising options. Filing deadline: Ads must be filed on the first Monday of the month for publication 2 months later. Example: for an ad to be published in September, filing deadline is the first Monday of July. Ads for the Global Program need to be supplied both in US and in international format: Resolution: 300 dpi or greater in PDF format. Only four-color (CMYK) advertising is accepted. Adventist World Stitched Center Inserts: Typically on 45-60 lb. paper, they may be furnished by the advertiser or they can be designed and printed for an additional charge to meet your requirements. POLICY 1. Adventist World, the international paper of the Seventh-day Adventist Church makes available its back page in its international editions for advertisements that support or are consistent with the doctrine, philosophy, and mission of the Church. 2. In the international editions, no other page of the magazine will be available for advertisement. The Adventist World NAD edition (North American Division) makes additional pages available for advertising through the Adventist World NAD advertising sales desk. These pages are regulated by a separate policy and rates. Please contact the sales representative for more information. 3. In the North American Division (AW NAD) edition, Adventist World reserves the right to place the ad in its interior back page at the same rate as that of the back page when that space has already been reserved by another advertiser. 4. Advertising will be accepted from General Conference departments and entities listed in the current Seventh-day Adventist Church Yearbook (Yearbook), members in good standing of Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) and any supporting ministries who have been previously approved by their respective division or listed with their division according to the General Conference Policy Manual, chapter K. Advertising from organizations not listed in the Yearbook will be accepted only if they have been approved and recommended by their respective division. 5. No advertising will be accepted from companies or entities that are not offering a service related to the life, mission, tenets and beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Advertisements will be accepted only as they relate to ministries, their programs and events; and institutions and their programs and services. No advertising promoting a personality or a ministry program promoting a personality will be accepted. No advertisement for commercial products will be accepted. 6. Advertisement can be placed for publication in one language or regional edition, several language editions, or globally (Global Program). 7. Adventist World’s advertising rates are offered in three levels: a. Standard rates: available for entities whose primary income is not derived from tithes and offerings, but from offering educational, medical, or other services. b. In-house rates: for Departments of the General Conference only. c. Ministries rates: for Seventh-day Adventist entities listed in the Yearbook whose revenue is primarily derived from tithe, and for ministries that are not listed in the Yearbook who depend on donations. 8. Additional discounts are available in the Global Program to advertisers who wish to have their message carried across all or a majority of Adventist World editions. 9. General Conference Department ads will be given preference on the calendar over commercial ads or ads related to other Church entities. 10. When the design and layout of an ad may resemble an editorial page of the magazine, such ads will carry the word “Advertisement” prominently visible. 11. Only 4-color, full-page ads will be accepted. 12. The layout will be produced in a professional way and will not display unacceptable content, indecent dress and/or jewelry. The Adventist World staff reserves the right to refuse or return advertising that displays graphics and language that are not in keeping with the high standards of the Church for decency and respect for cultural sensitivities around the world. Adventist World also reserves the right to not publish previously accepted advertising, and will not be liable for any costs relative to an advertisement that has been rejected. 13. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to provide plate-ready PDF material. Any production costs incurred in preparing the ad for publication will be the responsibility of the advertiser. 14. Adventist World makes available translation services and copy editing for the advertiser free of charge.

The advertiser will make payment to  - Adventist Review, as arranged.  Terms are full payment due within 30 days of invoice date.  Any balance due after 30 days will incur a late fee of 1.0% per month until full payment is received. The advertiser will be responsible for any outstanding bill not paid by agency. 2. Only 4 color ads will be accepted.   3. The layout or the web banner will be produced in a professional way and will not display unacceptable content, indecent dress and/or jewelry.  The Adventist Review staff reserves the right to refuse or return advertising that displays graphics and language that are not in keeping with the high standards of the Church for decency and respect for Christian sensitivities.  Adventist Review also reserves the right to not publish previously accepted advertising, and will not be liable for any costs relative to an advertisement that has been rejected. 4. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to provide plate-ready PDF material for print and/high resolution .JPG formatted digital banner.  Any production costs incurred in preparing the ad for publication will be the responsibility of the advertiser.   5. Cancellations will not be accepted after the closing date.  Reserved space not canceled by the closing date will be billed to the advertiser whether used or not. 6. If a new ad is not received by the ad due date, the last ad published will be inserted. 7. All ads submitted must be approved by the editors in order to print. 8. The editors reserve the right, at any time and for any reason, to reject advertising or to cease to publish previously accepted advertising without rate penalty to the advertiser. 9. The publisher’s liability for error will not exceed the cost of the space. 10. All advertising simulating content must be headed with the notation “Advertisement” or “Special Supplement.” 11.
