A powerful hammering mechanism is essential for demolition work. The heavy vibration emitted by breakers of standard design, however, is also transmitted to the operator. Long periods of exposure to such vibration may present a health hazard. The active vibration reduction system incorporated in the Hilti TE 905-AVR cuts vibration by half, resulting in significantly lower dynamic loads and less physical stress to the operator, particularly when the tool is in use for long periods.
