Ten golf courses with a total of 129 holes Five 18-hole championship courses, three 9-hole courses, and two 6-hole practice courses add up to a total of 129 holes and greens on 10 golf courses, which are integrated into the beautiful landscape perfect for golfing. The Golf Resort Bad Griesbach is the only resort worldwide that can offer three courses designed by Bernhard Langer. The diversity provided by the five golf courses built by Dipl. Ing. Kurt Rossknecht is unlimited. Ranging from the almost mountainous to the completely flat course, here you face new challenges, gain new experiences, and see new views in both game and landscape every day. 18-hole championship courses The golf course Brunnwies offers everything that characterizes a golf course and you can feel the imprint of Germany’s word-class golfer Bernard Langer with every swing. The golf course Brunnwies is not among the top 20 courses in Europe for just any reason. The slightly hilly course is a challenge for good golfers, but also suited for players on any level. Mown by hand and partially heavily undulating greens awaken the player’s interest in sports and demand a steady hand when putting. Imperial golf enjoyment on lush greens and perfect fairways awaits golfers of all levels at the championship course Beckenbauer Golf Course in Penning. Although the course is entirely flat, water hazards and greens mown by hand demand well-aimed swings and exact puts of every player. In part very long par 3 holes (up to 200 meters) demand courage to attack and exactness. The Beckenbauer Golf Course received the title of “world-class” as early as its opening year. The youngest among the championship courses, the Audi Golf Course, also lies in Penning, directly next to the Beckenbauer Golf Course. Some flat land, a few hills, a little water surrounded by fruit trees, and a small village in the center guarantee diversity on this championship course. Extensive greens demand a certain amount of talented putting from the player.

The Axel Lange Generali Golf Course Lederbach offers a view into the Bavarian Forest on one side and a sight of the city of Bad Griesbach on the other; and a few degrees further – given the correct weather conditions – an impressive view of the Alps. The almost mountainous championship course is athletically demanding due to its slopes and long uphill climbs. 9-hole and 6-hole practice courses You can put into practice your advances from lessons or improve the precision of your game directly at the center of the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach, the Golfodrom®, where the Hartl Resort Golf Academy is located: on the three directly adjacent 9-hole golf courses. These courses are ideal for beginners with course access in order to become fit for the first rounds on the 18-hole course without stress. In contrast to the courses “Jagl” and “Pfeiffer”, the course “Engled” has not only par-3 holes, but also par-4 holes. Here, you can practice perfecting your swing with distances ranging from 75 to 195 meters. The 9-hole golf course with the shortest courses in the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach is called “Pfeiffer.” The par-3 courses are between 75 and 139 meters long. This course is primarily reserved for the pros of the Bad Griesbach Golf Academy and its students, who optimally can practice their game on this golf course. The “Jagl” also only has par-3 holes. However, these are already somewhat longer and not always so easy to play. Many feature steep downhill or uphill, slopes, water, and several bunkers also come into play. The shortest distance to master is 57 meters. The longest hole measures 195 meters and is complicated by a pond obstacle. The third 9-hole golf course is “Engled.” There, six par-3 and three par-4 holes demand very good swings from all positions and distances from the golfers in order to get a good score. “Engled” is the most demanding course in the trio of 9’s, and has therefore been used for years in order to give the playing license exam. All golfers that don’t yet have the playing license may gather first experiences on fairways and greens on the small 6-hole course “Hackerwiese”, if accompanied by a golfer with a playing license.

Furthermore, there is a 6-hole golf course reserved for children in the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach. Starting times are only given to golfers below the age of 18. On the Chervò Junior Golf Course next to the golf course Brunnwies, children and youth learn golf rules and etiquette in practice between a bathtub, comic figures, and small obstacles; playing while having fun is the priority here. The Junior Golf Park was opened in 2013 directly next to the Chervò Junior Golf Course. Here, coordination, flexibility, balance, and reaction are now trained on 3,000 m2. In part, golf is combined here in all variations with other sports such as soccer, various ball games, or hockey and the primary focus lies on children having fun.

Hartl Resort Golf Academy In the Golfodrom®, the centerpiece of the Golf Resort opened in 1990, beginners can start to play golf in an ideal environment and golfers at any level can train in a perfect surrounding. With three 9-hole and two 6-hole golf courses, 210 tee areas (of which 109 are roofed and 21 are heatable), two pitching and chipping areas, one 18-hole indoor putting green, and one 72-hole putting green outdoors, the Golfodrom® provides practice capacity for more than 500 people simultaneously. Currently, more than 30 pros belong to Europe’s largest golf school. In addition, for many experienced golf pros, the associated shop in the Golfodrom® offers a large variety of golf clubs, bags, shoes, trollies, etc. In the affiliated fitting center, the golfer and his swing are measured in order to simplify buying the ideal golf club. In addition to the right equipment, the golf lesson must also fit the player. The Golf Resort Bad Griesbach offers lessons for beginners as well competitive golfers. Thanks to their well-founded and broad course offerings, the Hartl Resort Golf Academy is the first address for anyone who wants to perfect his golfing. Competent golf teachers teach on the basis of biomechanical, functionally anatomical, and neuropsychological laws, and help to improve playing skills in all aspects. Individual lessons are given even for physical impairments such as joint and muscle problems, back pains, or postoperative conditions. The current program is comprised of eleven different courses, ranging from the two-day beginners course starting at € 79, to the five-day intensive course for a DGV playing license for € 635, and there are special offers for children, teenagers, and ladies as well as training with Willi Hofmann, the trainer with 35 years of experience who trained world-class golfer Bernhard Langer. All offered courses are based on the “Griesbach Method,” developed out of the Universal Golf Learning System (UGLS). The “Griesbach Method” owes its success to extensive research of methods of worldwide meaningful golf teachers. Additionally, it uses several years of scientific studies of Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Manfred Grosser and his team of biomechanics, anatomists, computer scientists, physiotherapists, and golf experts at the Technical University of Munich. In a multiyear cooperation, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Manfred Grosser developed a system with the Golf Academy which enables newcomers to golfing to learn and get a taste for golf motions quickly, gently, and all while having fun. Through application of the physical pendulum and kinesthetic exercises, beginners, intermediates, and top players develop a new feel for balance, body, and the pendulum swing path, which has proven to optimize the flow of the play.

Center of Excellence Tino Schuster and Felix Lubenau have built up a leading competence center in Germany in the Hartl Resort – the Hartl Resort Center of Excellence by Tino Schuster. The two golf experts, together with their partners, aim to improve the long-term strategies, the professional golf lessons, as well as the competence in the field of golf in Germany. In addition to schooling of coordination and the correct swinging technique, a large emphasis is put on strengthening the muscular system. Juniors train in small groups with specially trained pros, and care is exactly coordinated to the age of the children. After successful completion of the playing license exam, Tino Schuster and Felix Lubenau seek out young talents and provide targeted support for these. In addition to supporting young talents, the two golf experts also maintain an optimal development of the children’s and teenagers’ enthusiasm for golfing and want to bring out the best while always having fun.
