Services A public bar and bistro operates each race day in the clubhouse. Full tote and bookmaker facilities are also available in the betting ring. 5 local races will run on the sand track; southern races can be viewed on TVs. The Bundaberg Race Club has wheelchair access and disabled toilets.

Beverages The Bundaberg Race Club is a fully licensed venue and strictly no alcohol, other drinks, or food is to be brought into the racecourse. Eskies and bags will be checked upon gate entry. A selection of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks are available for purchase from our main bar in the clubhouse. Please note: only mid-strength alcohol is sold in the public bar. Private marquee bookings can pre-order alcohol for race days. Your drink order will be provided on ice in your marquee for guests to serve themselves. Please be advised not to over order as any drinks remaining at the end of the day cannot be removed from the venue. You may replenish your drinks by purchasing additional drinks from the bar or by setting up a bar tab. Special drink orders are available upon request, but conditions apply.

Fashions on the Field A public Fashions on the Field Competition runs at every race meeting except December. Selection for the following categories is made by silent judges:   

Lady of the Day Millinery Award Best Dressed Gentleman

Registration is no longer necessary. If selected, final stage judging will take place immediately following race three.

TRACKSIDE GAZEBO A trackside gazebo is an affordable way for family and friends to enjoy a day at the races. This is a great option for birthdays or Christmas parties. o o o o o

Racecourse admission for 10 3 x 3m gazebo 1 table and 10 chairs TV hire (additional cost) Opportunity to pre-order beverages and catering

Cost: $200│or $300 with TV. For groups larger than 10 you may book a number of gazebos side-by-side, which can be fenced for privacy. Multiple gazebo bookings also include the option to have a mix of dry bars and table seating.

PRIVATE MARQUEE Get close to the action on the home straight with a private marquee for up to 40 people. This option provides an exclusive al fresco area in front of the marquee allowing a relaxed atmosphere for your corporate event or celebration. o o o o o o o o

SPONSOR’S MARQUEE Enjoy a day at the races as a VIP in the exclusive marquee. Located on the top of the hill next to the betting ring you can catch up with friends away from the crowd. o o o o o o o

Tables in the exclusive marquee are available each race day, and often include drinks and catering in the ticket price. Prices and packages vary between race days, so contact the club for enquiries.

MELBOURNE CUP MARQUEE PACKAGES Melbourne Cup Day at the local racecourse is a very popular event. Making a booking for the public marquee or hiring one of the private marquees will give you guaranteed seating and the opportunity to pre-order food and drinks. You are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. General gate entry on Melbourne Cup day is $15 for adults and $8 for pensioners/students. Gates open at 9:30am. TRACKSIDE GAZEBO - $400 │ or $500 with TV PRIVATE MARQUEE - $2000 (can split with another booking for $1000 each) CORPORATE LOUNGE - $1600 PUBLIC MARQUEE - $45 p.p at tables of 10.

CORPORATE MARQUEES Located in the centre of the track adjacent to the finishing post, this is the perfect venue to host a corporate function or to entertain staff and guests. Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day in style with your very own corporate marquee, complete with your choice of decorations, drinks, catering, and entertainment. The cost of your marquee package will be dependent on your inclusions. Contact the race club to organise your exclusive marquee package. Spaces are limited.

We offer a fully licensed bar for your function and a kitchen that can be used for on-site catering. A variety of packages are available to suit your budget and event. MEMBERSHIP Annual membership to the Bundaberg Race Club allows you to enjoy seven thoroughbred race meetings a year with member’s only benefits. Included in your annual membership is entry into every local horse race meeting held at Thabeban Park and access to the member’s lounge in the clubhouse. Relax in the air-conditionted member’s lounge overlooking the finishing post, complete with a private bar and televisions. Platinum and Gold Members also receive a special 25% discount on marquee hire and tickets to the public marquee on Melbourne Cup Day. Simply quote your membership card number when making a booking to receive the discount. All members can also reserve tables in the clubhouse for any race meeting. Annual Membership fees: $40 (inc.
