Marine Survey Report of “Mrs. Wonderful”

SCOPE OF SURVEY The purpose of this survey is to determine the condition and value of the vessel Mrs. Wonderful. This survey includes a signed, written report of the surveyor’s observations, recommendations and opinions as to current market value and replacement cost. This report can also be relied upon by insurance underwriters and lenders in making financial decisions. Throughout the survey we have used the Standards set forth by the Canadian Department of Transportation, as well as the Standards set forth by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC). This report is a snapshot of the vessel at the time of the survey. It is not a warranty, either written or implied, that systems working at the time of the survey will continue to do so in the future. Furthermore it does not make any guarantee that systems not tested or testable are functioning or will continue to function in the future. The survey of this vessel is based solely upon a careful visual inspection of all accessible portions of its hull and equipment. This vessel was surveyed without removals of any parts, including fittings, tacked carpet, screwed or nailed boards, anchors and chain, fixed partitions, instruments, clothing, spare parts, and miscellaneous materials in the bilges and lockers, or other fixed or semifixed items. Locked compartments or otherwise inaccessible areas would also preclude inspection. Further, no determination of stability characteristics or inherent structural integrity has been made and no opinion is expressed with respect thereto. We have not inspected woodwork or other parts of the structure which are covered, unexposed, or inaccessible, and we are, therefore, unable to report that any such part of the structure is free from defect. Inspections are conducted in a thorough and professional manner with due care and diligence. No assurance can be made, however, that every deficiency will be discovered. The facts as discovered and presented in this written report should not be deemed a guarantee or warranty, either expressed or implied, for the boat, its machinery, or equipment. All observations are strictly in the nature of opinion and may be subject to further qualification. No reference or information should be construed to indicate evaluation of the internal condition of the engine or the propulsion system's operating capacity. Given today’s complicated marine systems, few surveyors can be considered experts in all matters. Qualified specialists should be consulted when circumstances dictate.

NOTE:

Although not a necessity, it is prudent to double clamp all hoses leading to through-hulls. That being said, there are situations where doubling clamps is not a good idea and that's where the addition and tightening of a second clamp will impinge on the hose and the clamp edge will actually cut the hose. This occurs when the pipe or the tail piece nipple is too short to allow for two adjacent clamps to secure the hose to the pipe end.

Electro-Systems automatic fume sniffer.

BOARDING LADDER:

Not required due to swim platform being low in water.

BILGE PUMPS BILGE PUMPS LIST: Two (2) Rule electric pump.

NOTE: CAUTION---- Bilge pumps are high maintenance items. Bilge pumps are only the initial part of a de-watering system, which may include a strum-box, check-valves or occasionally antisiphon loops and valves, piping, a sea cock if the exit is below waterline and a through-hull tail piece. This entire system must be understood and maintained. Bilge pumps may fail at any time. No warranty as to longevity can be expressed or implied at survey. Tapered wooden plugs tied to sea cocks are an inexpensive safety item and highly recommended under current ABYC standards. Keeping bilges clean and free of debris is a vital part of insuring proper operation. It is also recommended that each bilge pump be periodically tested by filling the immediate bilge area with water, to ensure the pump(s) and float switch(s) are operating as designed. Please ensure that all bilge pumps have an automatic float switch and that the pump by passes the main battery switch. It is vital that the bilge pump can operate when the main power is shut off.

ZINCS:

On rudder, hull, swim platform, and on shaft.

CONDITION OF HULL (BELOW WATERLINE) BLISTERS:

None sighted. Blisters are an unknown factor on all boats and if not currently present, there is no guarantee that they will not appear in the future. Blisters have a tendency to dry out over winter storage unless severe or large. Blisters (if any) best appear after vessel has been in water for an entire season. In addition, the symptomatic evidence of blistering can be obscured by bottom coatings, a dry storage period during which blisters spontaneously depressurise, bottom laminate sanding, and other conditions or actions. Recommend full inspection for blisters immediately after haul-out and power wash. Surveyor has no firsthand knowledge of the history of bottom maintenance, blistering, repairs or prophylactic coatings on this vessel.

CONDITION OF BOTTOM PAINT: Newly painted.

FINDINGS AND OBSERVATIONS Deficiencies noted under ''SAFETY'' should be addressed before vessel is next underway. These findings represent an endangerment to personnel and/or the vessel's safe and proper operating condition. Findings may also be in violation of government regulations. Deficiencies noted under ''OTHER DEFICIENCIES'' should be corrected in the near future so as to maintain standards and to help the vessel to retain its value. The following icons were used throughout this report to identify the surveyors’ findings. Recommendation Legend:

Safety Deficiencies Other Deficiencies Needing Attention Surveyors Notes and Observations There were no deficiencies or findings for this vessel. The hull, superstructure, machinery, and electronics all appeared serviceable and to have been maintained in an above average condition. Please read through this report in its entirety as there are comments throughout the report that may not be mentioned in the Findings.

Page 24

Marine Survey Report of “Mrs. Wonderful”

STATEMENT OF OVERALL VESSEL RATING OF CONDITION The following is the accepted marine grading system of condition: ''Excellent (Bristol) Condition'', is a vessel that is maintained in mint or Bristol fashion - usually better than factory new - loaded with extras - a rarity. ''Above Average Condition'', is a vessel that has had above average care and is equipped with extra electrical and electronic gear. ''Average Condition'', is a vessel that is ready for sale requiring no additional work and is properly equipped for her size. ''Fair Condition'', is a vessel that requires usual maintenance to prepare for sale. ''Poor Condition'', is a vessel that requires substantial yard work and is devoid of extras. ''Restorable Condition'', enough of the vessel’s hull and engine exist to restore the boat to usable condition. As a result of the investigation, and by virtue of experience, our opinion is Overall Vessel Rating:

Above Average.

Lunenburg Marine Surveys

Page 25

Marine Survey Report of “Mrs. Wonderful”

STATEMENT OF VALUATION The Fair Market Value is the most probable price in terms of money which a vessel should bring in a competitive and open market under all conditions requisite to a fair sale, the buyer and seller, each acting prudently, knowledgeably, and assuming the price is not affected by undue stimulus. Implicit in this definition is the consummation of a sale as of a specified date and the passing of title from seller to buyer under conditions whereby: a. Buyer and seller are typically motivated. b. Both parties are well informed or well advised, and each acting in what they consider their own best interest. c. A reasonable time is allowed for exposure in the open market. d. Payment is made in terms of cash in Canadian dollars or in terms of financial arrangements comparable thereto; and e. The price represents a normal consideration for the vessel sold unaffected by special or creative financing or sales concessions granted by anyone associated with the sale. Therefore, after consideration of the reliability of the data, the extent of the necessary adjustments and condition of the vessel, it is your surveyors’ opinion that the Fair Market Value of the vessel is: $99,000.

Lunenburg Marine Surveys

Page 26

Marine Survey Report of “Mrs. Wonderful”

STATEMENT OF OVERALL INSURANCE RISK: Overall Insurance Risk: Vessel appears to be suitable for its intended use, which is coastal cruising/passenger vessel. Please note that no boat design will compensate for inexperienced handling.
