MCC Gospel Choir to perform Tuesday The Meridian Community College Gospel Choir will present its Fall Concert on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. in the McCain Theater. From songs including Mighty to Save, Worthy Is Your Name, You Are the Living Word, the choir will sing various traditional and contemporary gospel selections, said Deborah Nettles, Gospel Choir advisor. This year’s program will also feature holiday selections including, Mary Did You Know? The choir is directed by the Rev. Scotty Cole, MCC Gospel Choir instructor. Admission is free of charge. The Eagles will be back at home in the Graham Gymnasium on Tuesday, Dec. 5, to battle Pearl River. Tipoff for the Lady Eagles is 5:30 p.m.; the men’s game gets under way at 7:30 p.m.

Jeremy Chase, 43, and Breanna Chase, 21, take another look at one of their favorite works by MCC Art Instructor Terrell Taylor that’s currently on display in the Miller Art Gallery. The show, which features art influenced by Taylor’s travels to Itay, will be displayed in the gallery through February.

Policy change MCC will become a tobacco-free campus on May 12, 2017, said MCC President Dr. Scott Elliott. This school year will be a time of transition for those who will have to adjust to this new policy. T-shirts for sale Want to help battle cancer and get a “vintage” T-shirt?
