Daewoo’s new range of LP and diesel powered 3,500kg - 5,000kg capacity lift trucks have been designed to meet the demands of the materials handling market into the new millennium. The new range of lift trucks are designed to be durable and reliable and boast a smart contoured styling with a fresh, new color scheme. Beneath this smart new exterior remains a tough and reliable workhorse. These lift trucks provide a careful mix of enhanced technology, increased operator comfort levels and easier serviceability that combine to offer the user higher levels of productivity and lower operating costs.

Operator Comfort The new Daewoo D/G40S(C) Series will help meet ever- increasing productivity demands with a lift truck that creates new standards in operator comfort.

Spacious and Comfortable Operator Room The operator room has been thoroughly designed to sustain operator comfort and high productivity throughout long hours of operation. The rubber floormat is not only environmentally friendly, but also reduces noise and vibration, which enhances operator comfort. The electrically controlled directional lever makes less operator’s fatique. And an optional Grammer suspension seat enables driver to operate more comfortably because of improved ergonomic design.

3 Wide Open Foot Steps and Grab Bar Wide open footsteps and a conveniently positioned overhead guard pillar grab bar make entry and exit easy. Auto Shift Controller(Option) A driver no longer has to change gears with his hands. The auto controller system guarantees more productivity as well as prevention of strains and abuse of transmission. High Visibility Overhead Guard Provides optimum upward visibility during lifting and loading. Hydraulic Control Levers & Convenient Package (Option) Ergonomically designed and positioned control levers make hydraulic operation easy and reduces driver fatigue. Contour shape desigened control valve grip enables operator to drive more comfortably, including convenient package for multi-purpose.

Operator Pedals

The operator pedals are set out in an automotive style with the accelerator, brake and inching pedal ergonomically positioned to reduce operator fatigue even during long shift operations. The pedal shafts are mounted under the driver compartment floor to give a clear, spacious area. The large accelerator pedal is designed to be operated with little effort and the hydraulically boosted power brake with its curved pedal design keeps braking effort to a minimum. The combination creep/brake pedal allows the operator to inch the truck in either direction with retaining full lifting speed. This enables efficient and accurate maneuverability of the truck and its load. When the pedal is depressed past the creep position the brakes are applied.

High Durability / Easy Serviceability Built to last Easy to maintain Our vast experience in the manufacture of lift trucks and diesel engines has helped us to produce the Daewoo D/G40S (C) range lift trucks.

Air Cleaner A large capacity air cleaner with pre-cleaner(Diesel) and Dual Element Air-cleaner(LPG) mean long service intervals. A visual indicator shows when the filter needs cleaning.

Planetary Drive Axle New, heavy duty, transaxle design includes 2-speed, electric shift transmission, and uses 4-pinion differential/spiral bevel gear set and planetary wheel ends to transfer high torque to the drive wheels. Drive shaft is made from carbonized high tensile alloy steel for long life.

Designed for Easy Maintenance These lift trucks are field proven and designed for longer life, reduced down time and ease of maintenance. Daily checks can be quickly performed. The engine, radiator coolant recovery bottle, engine oil dipstick, hydraulic oil dipstick, air cleaner and battery are all easily accessible under the wide-opening one piece clam shell hood.

Oil - Cooled Disc Brakes

New Cabin(Option) New low noise cabin is provided as an option. It boasts high visible windows, comfortable cup holder, clip board and deluxe interior other than low noise.

Oil cooled disc brakes are available as an option on all D/G45 series pneumatic tire lift trucks and are recommended for applications in humid, abrasive or corrosive environments, or with ramp, loading and unloading applications. This enclosed brake system eliminates outside contamination, significantly extending brake life and decreasing maintenance costs. Oil cooled disc brakes have service intervals 5 times longer than conventional shoe brakes, and require little maintenance.

Powerful Engine DB58 Engine Powerful 6-cylinder Daewoo diesel engine delivers 92ps to meet the needs of demanding applications. Lower exhaust emissions make our DB58 engine environmentally friendly.
