If the Recreation Department cancels a program/ class, a refund will be given. Credit card convenience fees are non-refundable. If a session is cancelled due to weather or other problems, an effort will be made to schedule a make-up session. If a make-up session cannot be scheduled, no partial refund will be made. Program cancellations due to weather conditions will be announced on Channels 3, 4, 6 & 8, 105.5, 104.7, 102.3 FM & 980 AM, or the individual may call the Recreation Department at 446-4128. Evening activities will be cancelled by 3:00 pm. Whenever Groton schools is cancelled or closed early, programs will be cancelled.

Fee: $80.00 City Resident / $130.00 Non-Resident BILL MEMORIAL LIBRARY SUMMER READING at Bill Memorial library is for grades 1-12 and will begin on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 – August 11, 2015. The theme this year is Every Hero Has a Story! This program runs during regular library hours. The kickoff program on Tuesday, June 23rd at 1:00 pm will feature our local community heroes! SUMMER TIME STORY TIME at Bill Memorial Library is a drop-in outdoor program that runs on Tuesdays beginning July 7– August 11, 2015. This program begins at 10:30 am. In case of inclement weather the program takes place inside in the Children’s Room.
PLAYGROUND RAINY DAYS
If it is raining or threatening to rain before playground starts, the Washington Park site will relocate to the West Side Middle School site. West Side Middle School site will meet rain or shine and will be the designated rain site for the 2015 season.
