Reports to his/her designated supervisor Job Description  To support EULEX Judges, Prosecutors, Experts, Advisors and EULEX Legal Officers, in the fulfilment of their duties;  To conduct legal research and provide legal advice on issues related to the work of EULEX Judges, Prosecutors, Experts, Advisors and EULEX Legal Officers;  To draft memoranda, summaries and other legal texts;  To review and analyse legal documents, including claims;  To undertake any other work-related task as requested. Job requirements  Successful completion of a full course of University studies attested by a degree in Law. A postgraduate degree in Law or a relevant field or a Bar exam would be an advantage;  After having obtained the university degree a minimum of five (5) years of relevant and proven fulltime professional experience. Previous experience with an international organisation would be an advantage;  Demonstrable analytical capacities;  Excellent knowledge of the applicable law in Kosovo (criminal and/or civil and property law);  Demonstrated knowledge of European and other international standards and judicial institutions.  Excellent spoken and written command of English, including high-level drafting skills;  Excellent spoken and written command of Albanian plus working knowledge of Serbian OR excellent spoken and written command of Serbian plus working knowledge of Albanian;  Sound knowledge of Police structures and the judiciary systems of Kosovo;  Excellent computer skills in particular with MS Word;  Ability to take initiative and to work effectively with minimum supervision and careful attention to detail and nuance;  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations as a team member in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment;  Punctuality; commitment to quality; ability to perform under stress; willingness to work flexible hours; precision; good multi-tasking and organisational skills;  Good interpersonal and communication skills;  Ability to prioritize and manage high workload.

Security Guard

He/she reports to the Mission Security Officer (MSO). Job Description  To act as first point of contact and respond to any emergency situation involving EULEX Staff and Assets;  To coordinate with the MSO to ensure safe and secure working environment for Mission personnel;  To perform reception and security duties EULEX Mission-wide facilities;  To welcome and check authorized personnel, visitors, delegations and vehicles for entrance into EULEX facilities;  To complete all documents or forms necessary for non-EULEX visitors;  To accurately receive and record documents, goods and supplies;  To be able to work in Incidents Reporting/Radio Room with responsibilities for the monitoring and passage of information via VHF radio and IT systems when needed;  To implement Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) concerning: Fire Plan, Bomb Incident Procedures, Evacuation Plan, Emergency Response Procedures, Rules and Regulations for Accessing EULEX facilities;  To attend Security incidents within the area of operations and liaise with local emergency services, assisting EULEX staff;  To assist the MSO in the continued development and maintenance of SOPs;  To undertake mobile patrols and other guard and control duties as required;  To undertake any other work-related task as requested. Job Requirements  Completed compulsory education;  A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience. Prior experience in an international environment would be an advantage;  Good spoken and written command of the English and Serbian or Albanian languages;  Relevant work experience in the security/guarding-sector; Previous experience in an international environment would be an advantage;  Previous experience in radio operations and procedures together with knowledge of communication systems and equipment;  Demonstrable understanding of security procedures and requirements. Ability to maintain a customeroriented approach while strictly following all security guidelines. Court Interpreter/Translator (Albanian/English)

He/she will report to the designated supervisor. Job Description  To serve as official verbatim interpreter for EULEX Judges and/or EULEX Prosecutors by providing simultaneous and consecutive interpretation from Albanian into English and vice versa during court proceedings and the various stages of the criminal investigative process;  To provide high quality translation from Albanian into English and vice versa of documents and written materials in all stages of court and pre-trial proceedings and/or criminal investigations as required by EULEX Judges and/or EULEX Prosecutors;  To perform verbal interpreting from Albanian to English and vice versa during high level and other meetings, conferences and workshops;  To provide proof-reading, editing and quality control for translation;  To perform any other job-related tasks as requested by the designated supervisor. Job Requirements  A university degree in English, translation, linguistics or other relevant fields, a C1 level of knowledge of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) classification system and two (2) years of relevant professional experience or Secondary education, a C1 level of knowledge of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) classification system and six (6) years of relevant professional experience;  Experience in working in an international environment would be an additional advantage;  Excellent spoken and written command of English and Albanian;  A working knowledge of Serbian would also be an asset;  Thorough knowledge of legal terminology in English and Albanian;  Knowledge of the legal and the judiciary system and structures of Kosovo;  Excellent computer skills in MS Office applications;  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations as a team member in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment.
