From there, I changed my major and graduated with a Bachelor's in nutrition. I am currently completing my Master's in nutrition with an emphasis in sports nutrition and wellness. I have always loved being active in sports and dance, and became certified in personal training. I love helping people achieve their goals, in the gym and in the kitchen. I see nutrition and training as the two wheels of a bicycle: You don't move without both of them working together!

I love that after a Pilates session my students feel stronger but also more relaxed, both physically and mentally. I originally joined Life Time as a member while I had an office job. I had chronic back pain and was frustrated with my lack of flexibility, especially my inability to touch my toes. The Life Time trainer I met with suggested that Pilates would help me reach my goals, so I started attending fitness Pilates classes and fell in love with mat Pilates. I then tried group reformer classes and immediately knew that this was my calling. Through Pilates, I eliminated my back pain, gained amazing flexibility, and felt stronger and healthier than I'd ever been.

ZOEY TRAP PILATES INSTRUCTOR 571-512-3500, ext. 007 [email protected] MY STORY I’m a lifelong athlete, and when I entered the Marine Corps, I became the first female to train male troops in PT. I was working as a professional dancer when I was introduced to Pilates and yoga, and I never looked back. At age 35, I landed a theatre role that required a skimpy costume and I started body building, and at age 40 I won the National Master's title. Today I still am active in Pilates and Yoga and have the pleasure of working with Peak Pilates. I have written their instructor education and get to train teachers all over the world. In my spare time, I am a trail runner and road cyclist, competing occasionally.
