LFG-3540 uses stable frame structure, high rigidity and high efficiency to earn wide reputation worldwide. LFG-3540 applies the globally famous FANUC controller and servo & directdrive motors; each axis can move simultaneously and receive a highprecision performance. The Luren Precision-developed intelligent conversations window software supports the complete machining process. Machine can generate NC program automatically through the parameters-input and setting of grinding conditions via the conversation, and thus increases the working efficiency significantly. 2

Except the standard mechanical functions LFG-3540 could also option the Luren-developed special mechanical functions, which including rotary dresser unit, automatic electric adjustment of the tailstock, automatic positioning and on-line grinding wheel balance system.

Software Technology

Innovative R&D Intelligent NC Technology

Intelligent Software Technology Luren Precision has developed the gear form grinding software, all inputs apply the dialog blocks that enable operator to set gear data and grinding process parameters in a flexible matter; the software will generate complete NC program automatically and guide operator to run the grinding process.

Optional to provide anti-twist for gear tooth flank (Bias-free) function.

Cycloidal gear

Gear data Follow workpiece drawing to input the gear parameters and automatically calculate the matched gear profile. Freely zoom-in/out the graphics to check/confirm gear-profile details.

Machining

Machining Examples Gears are widely used in daily life. The main purpose of the gears is for the power transmission via different gear pairs to match of some change from the torque, speed and direction. The Involute gear characteristics compared to the other type gear profiles are easier to be machined, high replaced, heavy loading and easier to be assembled. The Cycloidal gear is used in high-precision cycloidal reducer which is also common in the robotic arm.

The master gears can be used to check and correct gear measuring machine, also can be used in gear meshing test to check the workpiece to comply with the accuracy requirement.

The EDM can machine special material workpieces. The copper is the normal electrode material in EDM.

In order to increase the gear strength and reduce assembly error, gears are often designed on the gear shaft.

Cycloidal reducers are capable of higher gear ratio, smaller volume and lower noise.
