Granherne completed a detailed technical assessment and evaluation of a Gulf Coast LNG import terminal on the behalf of Royal Bank of Scotland. The work included the technical review of the project prior to financial close as well as monitoring of the construction, commissioning and testing prior to project completion. The technical review included assessing the plant design, construction plans, and key contract documents as well as a risk assessment, review of the schedule, and review of the construction and operating costs.
Granherne recently acted as a lender’s advisor for a potential buyer in Tampico, Mexico providing the technical due diligence of three offshore jackets platforms and the associated onshore facility. Granherne provided detailed technical expertise by outlining capital expenditures that would be required for the remaining life of the field, using benchmark data to assess operating expenses, and identifying key risks associated with the subsea, piping, and wellhead infrastructure. Granherne also carried out the technical due diligence for an onshore field, which included conducting physical inspections of the boosting facilities, pipelines, and well heads. Granherne properly identified environmental and other key potential risks including outlining additional capital expenditures associated with the life extension of the field.
Granherne recently completed a comprehensive assessment of a $5 billion world class onshore gas field production facility and associated export infrastructure for a confidential client. The project involved a review of the costs associated with drilling, capital expenditure, operating expenditure, and abandonment liability. Granherne also completed a review of the environmental, health, and safety records as well as identified technical risks associated with the facility. Granherne continued in an advisory role throughout the acquisition process recommending mitigation measures to be included in the transaction contract.
