Assembly Instructions Assembly requires two people, hammer, and screw driver. 1. Manger: Assembly of the Manger requires two people a. Manager Pieces:

b. Connect the Manger Crossbeam to the Manager Right Front and the Manger Left Front. Each side will have 6 screws as shown.
c. Connect the star to the Manger Left Front. The start should cover the left edge of the Manger Crossbeam.
d. Insert the front of one Manager Side Fence into the Manager Left Front. e. Insert the front of the other Manager Side Fence into the Manger Right Front.

f. Insert the Manager Back Fence into the back of both Manger side Fences.
g. Insert Mary and Joseph in to middle joints of the Manger Side Fences.
h. Connect the Cradle to the Mary and Joseph. Put two screws in the back of the halo to attach the cradle to Mary and Joseph.
i. Connect the Sitting Sheep to the Manager Left Front. j. Connect the Standing Sheep to the Manger Right Front.
k. Connect the Shepard staff (PVC pipe) to Joseph’s hands. l. Tie the white rope from Manger Crossbeam to the Manger Back Fence. m. Tie the 35 inch rope around Joseph’s head. Refer to picture in the shepherds section for a visual

2. Kings and Camels: Assemble 2 kings on standing camels and one king on sitting camel: a. King and Camel Pieces: Note: The camel legs and hips are marked with a CA.

b. Connect any two (your choice) of the kings to the camel standing legs. c. Connect the camel ears to the camel heads. d. Tie the 70 inch rope around the camel’s nose.

Connect the remaining king to the two camel hips. Connect the camel front legs to the camel hips. Connect the camel back legs to the camel hips. Connect the camel ears to camel head. Tie the 70 inch rope around the camel’s nose.

b. Connect the goat hips to the goat. The bigger goat hip is in back. c. Connect the goat front legs and goat back legs to the goat hips. d. Connect the goat ears to the goat. e. Connect the goat horns to the goat. The goat horns are taller and pointier compared to the cow.

5. Two shepherds and their sheep (one sitting, one standing) a. Shepherd and Sheep pieces:

b. Insert the shepherd into slot of the sheep & shepherd stand. c. Connect the sheep sitting to the double wide edge of shepherd and sheep stand. d. Connect the sheep standing (front or back legs) to the double wide edge of shepherd and sheep. e. Connect the PVC pipe to the shepherd’s hands. f. Tie the 35 inch rope around the shepherd’s head.
6. Donkey: a. Donkey pieces: Note: The donkey hips and legs are marked with a D.

b. Connect the donkey hips to the donkey. c. Connect the donkey front legs and donkey back legs to the donkey hips. d. Connect the donkey ears to the donkey.

7. Electrical: a. Connect the 3 lights to the 3 lights sockets. b. Plug in the light sockets to the 3 way plug. c. Plug in the 80’ extension cord to the timer. d. Plug the timer into the electrical outlet. 8. Arrangement: a. Arrange the nativity scene to your personal preference. There are a few pictures to assist you in making the decision. You can see more pictures at http://kcnativitysets.com 9. Stake it down: a. Stake everything down! b. The standing camels require a stake for each leg. c. The sitting camel, donkey, cow, goat, only need two stakes. d. The Shepherd and sheep need a stake for both the shepherd and sheep. e. The Manger requires a stake for the back fence and each side fence. f. The Manger needs a stake for the front fences. g. The Manger requires a stake for Mary and Joseph and the cradle.
