Vale of York Blending aspects of contemporary architecture, this light and airy room has floor to ceiling windows, ornate décor and is the idyllic setting for a small and intimate wedding. The Vale of York can cater for those looking for a unique, open space. Set for either a civil ceremony for up to 90 people or a wedding breakfast accommodating up to 67 guests.

Kilnwick Percy Suite A fresh, contemporary space with neutral walls and high ceilings, this blank canvas is ideal for those who are full of creativity to create their perfect wedding setting. Our recommended suppliers are on hand to transform the room with dramatic & atmospheric lighting and styling! This suite can seat up to 110 guests for a civil ceremony with room to transform into a walkway of dreams or seating 120 guests for a stunning wedding breakfast to fill the room with love and laughter.

BOOKING INFORMATION

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL?

If you’re interested, but need some time to think, we can hold your preferred date provisionally for a week without payment. Your booking is confirmed when the contract is signed and the deposit paid.

If you cancel your confirmed booking within 12 weeks of your event, the following cancellation charges apply:

EVENT PAYMENT To confirm your booking we ask for a non-refundable deposit of £500. If booking your wedding for another year, a further £500 is required in January the year of your wedding. Your final balance is due to be paid 14 days prior to your event. Any outstanding balance, such as extras on the day, will be invoiced on the night of the event and payment is required within 24 hours. All prices may be changed at the discretion of the management.

LODGE BOOKINGS A non-refundable £100 deposit per lodge is required for all lodge bookings, plus a further £100 with your second payment the year of your wedding. The final balance will be added to the wedding invoice payable 2 weeks before the event. When you and your guests check in, we will take a pre-authorisation payment of £100 by debit or credit card.

12 weeks or before = Loss of deposit 12 - 6 weeks before = 30% of total booking value 6 - 4 weeks before = 50% of total booking value Less than 4 weeks before = 100% of total booking value Please note that this also applies to any bookings for lodges. We ask that all cancellations are put in writing to the KP. Once we receive this, we will then get in touch to confirm that the booking has been cancelled. On paying the deposit you are accepting these terms and conditions and the cancellation charges conditions.

MISCELLANEOUS a) The only food & beverage consumed at The KP will be supplied by The KP, guests must not bring their own. b) The KP reserves the right to charge for any damage caused by you and your guests during the event. c) The KP cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to any property brought onto the property by you or your guests. d) If the KP is unable to honour any booking for reasons beyond its control, it shall be entitled to cancel the booking without liability.

GUEST NUMBERS Confirmed guests and party numbers are to be given two weeks prior to your event, and this will be the number of guests charged for. Let us know as soon as possible if things change, please note minimum numbers apply which will be noted in your contract.
