Note; Gulph Mills GC, (Private) is a 1916 Donald Ross designed golf course located in King of Prussia, PA just west of Philadelphia, Peter Conti was the club Professional in its early days, and sold this set in his golf shop to one of his female members. 46. 71. “THE SABBATH BREAKERS” – By John Charles Dollman, (1851 – 1934), interpretation of the famous story of (2) golfers who in 1608 violated an edict passed in 1593, that prohibited the playing of golf on a holy day, original 1896 engraving, framed and single matted with some staining to the print, the condition is good.
