Precision Air Conditioning Data centres produce high heat loads and require reliable specialist cooling solutions. JEC supplies and installs high quality Precision Air Conditioning and peripheral equipment such as cooling towers and pumps.

Quality installation in critical facilities is, however, only half the story. Data centre equipment must be well maintained to ensure zero-downtime. JEC uses its technical expertise to guarantee that computer equipment is kept at the correct environment. In addition to cooling systems, JEC provides and integrates related data centre systems such as uninterruptable power, fire prevention, security, raised flooring, and building management systems. 07

Building Management Systems Advances in building automation systems and metering devices have provided significant opportunities for enhanced building control and energy management. JEC integrates various control and monitoring systems by open or proprietary control. Electrical JEC is a registered electrical contractor in the Philippines and licensed to provide turnkey electrical systems. JEC designs, supplies, and maintains high and low voltage fixed and electrical installations.

Boiler Systems JEC looks to reduce boiler systems energy consumption by retrofitting boilers with more efficient systems and by maintaining existing boilers to a high standard.

Compressed Air JEC has expertise in the installation and operation of compressed air systems.

PRODUCTS and SOURCING

JEC's dedicated Product and Sourcing office in Shenzhen supports its contracting and service businesses by ensuring that high quality products are found and delivered on time. Sourcing engineers travel around China and other parts of Asia inspecting suppliers and monitoring the quality of output. If required, a JEC engineer can be stationed in a factory full time to supervise production quality. JEC has a network of trusted suppliers but can also flexibly find and evaluate new suppliers according to a project's need.

Energy Audit JEC’s energy audit services provide the foundation of an effective energy management program. JEC’s specialists analyse current equipment and operating practices to identify energy management opportunities. System improvements are highlighted and the time frame and potential cost savings are mapped out. In some cases, where it is possible to quantify precisely the amount of energy saved, JEC can provide energy saving guarantees and assist with third-party funding.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY SOLUTIONS

Installation of Energy Efficient Systems Cooling Systems (or HVAC) is the largest consumer of energy in buildings in the Philippines. Cooling Systems account for anywhere between 30-60% of a building’s energy consumption. The replacement of aging chillers, air handling units, ducting, and pump systems provides dramatic improvements in buildings’ energy consumption and costs. Lighting is the second largest energy consumer and as lighting retrofits are comparatively cheap, the payback period is often under a year with continued energy savings every year afterwards. Other energy saving systems comprise building automation, energy efficient motors, boilers, and occupancy sensors.

Operation and Maintenance Energy efficiency projects must be approached holistically and the installation of improved equipment must be combined with high quality maintenance and power consumption monitoring.
