2011-2012 Financial Recap 2009-2011 ADMINISTRATION TRANSITIONED Operating: $106,533 Teen Conference: $11,018 Regional Conference: $43,053 Mid-Western Region CD: $20,000 FINANCIAL As of September 30, 2012, the region’s total cash and investments was $198,092.22. This is comprised of $85,302 in Operating Funds, $3,968.14 in Regional Funds, and $87,841.87 in Teen Conference and a $20,980.21 CD. INCOME Per Capita – We were favorable to budget by $7,335 or 8.11% and $4,350 or 4.97% respectively. Regional Assessments exceeded budget expectations for 2011 ($28,860) & 2012 ($28,120). BUDGET Overall the region is in very good financial health with income exceeding expenses. Income exceeded expectations at every regional event due to higher than anticipated participation. With the approved increase in the assessments, the region was able to channel more money into programming: chapter stipends for Up the Hill 2011, YOLO Teen Fundraiser, increase in Children’s Cluster stipends and Leadership Summit , and chapter administrative support & training.
