Scientific Expedition: Started Jan 2008 – to date

• 200 Scientists • 40 Universities

Funded at €4m

In partnership with :

21st Century Leaders Girls Scholarship Fund

The 21st Century Leaders Girls Scholarship Fund aims to educate girls who are conscious of environmental, social and health issues directly effecting their lives and the lives of their families, villages and the larger community and who will become engaged members of society prepared to face the challenges of the next generation. These women will be equipped with both the intellectual and practical skills as well as the training required to: • Combat degradation and over-exploitation of their own environment; • Understand and communicate with people outside of their own communities; • Improve their livelihoods and support local communities towards sustainable long term economic growth and natural resource management and use.

“It always seems impossible… until it’s done.” Dr. Nelson Mandela

The project means a lot to me. Please take the time to consider it. It’s a great opportunity to make a difference. Thank you.

Ewan McGregor
