INTRODUCTION
WELCOME TO EON FREE ZONE! The Eon Newsletter is a snapshot of life at Eon Free Zone. The purpose of the newsletter is to share news, inspire activity and connect. The idea is to instil a sense of belonging and ownership in the community, and encourage conversations. With the aim to keep stakeholders informed, the Eon Newsletter also serves to bring the latest news on activities & functions, development, maintenance & upkeep, and relevant events on the campus.
APRIL - JUNE 2014 The summer passed by bringing in a change at India's top office. Now the monsoon is here to make Pune greener and more pleasant. April‐June was also a busy time for Eon and its associates. Numerous activities, tournaments, and engagement programs were organized keeping in line with Eon's philosophy of Freedom‐ Work. ACTIVITIES & ANNOUNCEMENTS THE ABS CRICKET LEAGUE Abs organized an inter‐club cricket league in the month of May. Two teams from Eon participated out of which one qualified for the semi‐finals. Congratulations to the team for their fine performance! This team was formed of cricket enthusiasts from various companies within Eon who came together to fight for the trophy. ACTIVITIES & ANNOUNCEMENTS PARENT-MANAGEMENT MEET - YOUR KIDS 'R' OUR KIDS® The second meeting between parents and YKROK creche management was organized in the month of June. The aim of this meeting was to understand and exchange views on requirements of kids and their development. This was a part of the initiative by YKROK to provide better facilities to the kids. Moving forward YKROK also plans to have more events to engage parents and the kids.

HOSPITALITY Work luncheon catering in corporate campuses is of tremendous importance. UPDATES FOR EON FOOD COURTS The food court at Cluster C was refurbished recently to offer better facilities and ambience. Cafeteria phase 1 operations begun from 16 June 2014 with Thali option at Renuka Foods. The timings for the same will be 12.00 pm to 3.30 pm.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS... ABS BASKETBALL (JULY) A competition will be held where members will get an opportunity to show their basketball skills and compete with opposite teams. FITNESS CARNIVAL (JULY) July will see a fitness exercise batch conducted amongst group of people from Eon. This group batch will be conducted by fitness experts from Abs Eon. The Fitness Carnival will be organized at the outdoor space of tennis courts. Stay tuned for more details! FITNESS ASSESSMENT (AUGUST) A campaign will be organized for all employees of Eon to conduct fitness tests. These tests will give a brief idea about fat percentage, muscle mass, BMI, BMR, etc. Also, dietary and health tips will be shared with those attending the camp. ABS COOKERY CHALLENGE (AUGUST) Participants with the help of special nutritionists will prepare and share healthy food with club members. Members will get a chance to taste the dishes and give their feedbacks on these preparations. The best dish based on votes will be adjudged as winner. ABS DJ NIGHT Enjoy DJ nights at Eon where live DJ music will be played on certain days. Members can now have a blast while working out with their favorite music played live.

GREEN INITIATIVES LEED GOLD CERTIFICATION FOR CLUSTER B In extension of our phase‐wise tradition, Cluster B was recently awarded the LEED Gold Certificate for Core & Shell. At the Eon Free Zone, we have always made sure to deliver the best, in the 'greenest' way possible. Eon Free Zone continues to create accountability for energy efficiencies, reducing operating costs over time and creating a meaningful contribution to resource preservation.

GREEN INITIATIVES CITICORP TAKES THE LEED Congratulations to CitiCorp for achieving the LEED Platinum certification for their facility at Eon. Salient features which they have achieved on their floors include: Water‐efficient low‐flow fixtures have been installed in toilets saving more than 35% of water. The total connected lighting power is 32.49% below ASHRAE standard. The lighting design is further optimized by installing daylight sensors in day lit areas and motion sensors in closed rooms. Air Conditioning system design is zoned, based on the occupant use and space requirements. It is controlled by installing motion sensors for closed rooms to achieve demand controlled ventilation. The facility has bought green e‐certified products in renewable power equivalent to 50% of the energy use. The facility provides sufficient supply of fresh air, which exceeds minimum ASHRAE standard 62 requirement by 30%. All interior finishes like carpets, wooden flooring, adhesives, paints and system furniture contain low volatile organic compound substances (Greenguard certified). More than 90% of construction waste was diverted away from landfill. Overall recycled content present in the materials used is more than 20%.

MAINTENANCE & FACILITY UPDATES UPDATES ON ANNUAL MAINTENCANCE, SCHEDULED SERVICING, PREDICTIVE, AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE INFHRA (Infrastructure, Facility, Human Resources & Realty Association) organized a talk on Facility Management Integration 2014 on 23 May 2014 at O Hotel. Col. Ahuja, GM ‐ Facility Management, Panchshil Realty was called to give a key note address on All-In Approach On Facility Management Integration. Mr. Shirish Wasker, Head, Facility ‐ Tieto Software & Col. Dinkar Pandere from Zensar also participated.

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATIONS USE OF RFID It has been noticed that a large numbers of employees do not carry/ use given RFID cards and SEZ vehicle stickers. In their own interest, it is mandatory for employees to possess these and avoid being questioned or obstructed for the lack thereof. RFID cards are essential for smooth entry of vehicles to premises and prompt and correct display of these cards will facilitate hassle‐free entry/exit, reduce checks, and queue. PARKING Tenants are requested to ensure parking is done by employees within allocated parking area of the company only. Parking areas have been allocated to occupants and the parking bay distribution is internal and to be controlled by occupants themselves. Instances of wrong parking or parking in non‐allocated areas will warrant serious action as it causes inconvenience to the bonafide employees/clients. Further, overnight parking or leaving vehicles in Eon premises after office hours is not permitted. Jammer and deterrents will be imposed on to defaulters. SMOKING ZONES Smoking areas have been clearly demarcated at podium level. In the interest of non‐smokers and to avoid complaints, please avoid drifting to non‐smoking areas. COFFEE SHOP AREAS All users are requested to confine to coffee shops at the Podium only. Do not loiter with food and beverages beyond the designated zones. Consuming foodstuffs or beverages in lift lobby areas, elevators, around buildings, walk‐ways, dry water‐ways, auditorium lobby, and passages is strictly prohibited.
