MARC GROSSMAN Principal

Marc Grossman has worked extensively with a wide range of health care providers including integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals, physician organizations, public health agencies, and home health agencies. He has performed information technology (IT) strategic planning, system selection, contract negotiations, and implementation of a wide array of clinical, financial, and ancillary systems.

Marc was an owner of Smart Solutions for Health Care which became a division of WeiserMazars in March 2012 and leads the IT practice. He has worked in health care administration and IT for over 25 years. For the past 20 years, Marc has been providing IT strategic consulting services to health care facilities throughout the United States.

Marc received his Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and his BA, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University. He is currently a Fellow, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Past President, NY Chapter of HIMSS.

Prior to joining Smart Solutions for Health Care, Marc was Principal/Practice Leader at Hamilton HMC, the health care division of Kurt Salmon Associates. Previously, Marc was an Assistant Vice President at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. In this capacity he was administratively responsible for the operations of numerous clinical inpatient and ambulatory departments as well as a marketing program.
