Is there life after death? How to go to Heaven. You are created in God's Image. Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:" This among many things means that you will exist for eternity, live on and on.

Yes, there is life after death. Death on earth is not the end of your life. Your soul and spirit continues to live, either in Heaven or in Hell, waiting for the resurrection of your body. Matthew 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

You have a choice of where to spend eternity, either in Heaven or in Hell. Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

You are on your way to hell already, because you have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18 "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God"

You have sinned before God. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Hell is eternal conscience death.

Without God it is impossible for you to go to heaven. Matthew 19:25 "When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

But God loves you and has provided a way for you to live in Heaven. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

In order for this to happen, God had to solve some problems for you.

Problem # 1. Sin must be punished. Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"

Solution - Jesus died for you. Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus took your punishment on the cross.

Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Jesus took your punishment in Hell. Acts 2:31 "He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption."

Problem # 2. The power of death must be conquered. Hebrews 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."

Solution - Jesus was raised from the grave and conquered death for you. Romans 14:9 "For this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living."

Problem # 3. God must forgive you of all your sins. Mark 2:7 "Who can forgive sins but God only?"

Solution - God will forgive you: 1. Jesus shed his blood on the cross that you might have forgiveness. Colossians 1:14" In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"

2. If we confess our sins to God 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

3. If you will turn (repent) from your sins. Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"

4. If you will believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and raised the third day. 5. If you will pray with your mouth (out loud) to God the Father and ask Him to forgive you of your sins in the name of Jesus, He will. Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Now the choice is yours. Will you do nothing and continue on to Hell? Or will you believe what God has said; repent of your sins, and pray asking God to forgive you in the name of Jesus? You might say a prayer like this out loud:

"Dear God, I am sorry that I have sinned against you. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, was buried, and raised the third day. I repent of my sins to follow your teachings. Please forgive me of my sins and save me by the blood of Jesus. Thank you for saving my soul. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen."
