APPEARANCE : Colour is blue to blue-grey. Often other colours are seen in clouds within the iris, which discolours the iris. Various defect signs and hyperpigmentation often are found throughout ciliary zone. Yellow-brown discolouration of clouds is common. Runners of cloud, in spoke-like formation, are found from the humeral region to the clouds on the ciliary border. Weakness signs and open lacunae are often found in areas concerned with the ears, nose, and throat.

APPEARANCE : Circular rings or half rings spread throughout the iris. Also called cramp rings, nerve rings, contraction furrows, sensitivity rings, or accomplishment rings. Caused by a buckling of the fibres due to prolonged excessive stress. Can be seen in any colour iris.
