• Coalition locals have local CBA’s with Kaiser. • These cover the usual subjects of CBA’s such as: – Just cause – Grievance and arbitration – Scheduling, seniority, bidding, and other operational provisions – More detail on certain economic provisions – including wage scales and classifications, differentials, other economic benefits

National Agreement: Economics

 Across-the-board wage increases  No change to pensions or 401(k) plans  Protection for retiree health benefits  Increased dental, orthodontia and insurance benefits

Enhanced job training, advancement and mobility  33 percent increase in company contributions to two Educational Trusts  $3,000 per year tuition reimbursement  Commitment to work together to identify future jobs and skills to prepare current workforce for jobs of the future.  Jointly developed, voluntary plan with group-based incentives to support workforce health and wellness  Enhanced tracking and assessment of safety hazards, including workplace violence risks

9-cent/hour wage diversion and corresponding management contribution pays for:  Staff to support front-line teams  Employee health, safety and other programs  Partnership training  “Lost-time” union members to work on partnership  Union participation in KP conferences and events  Coalition participation in partnership work

 Commit in principle to Coalition and Partnership  Local unions bargain (with Coalition assistance)

the terms of incorporation into National Agreement with KP.  Members vote to ratify National Agreement as

addendum to the local CBA.  Jointly implement Partnership programs
