Director Bev Strickland

Bev Strickland is one of Australia’s most respected marketers, with a 20-year track record of delivering results in the business, retail and property sectors. Her ability to use strategic marketing to generate bottom line results has made her a highly sought-after consultant to clients across Australia and South East Asia. Bev has gained a reputation as a ‘trouble-shooter’ by developing and implementing marketing strategies which have helped revitalise previously troubled business ventures including the retail component of Brisbane’s South Bank, Melbourne’s Southgate Arts and Leisure precinct and Robina Town Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast. In each instance, her involvement has resulted in positive turn-arounds in turnover, customer/visitor traffic, and government and community support. Bev believes the secret to helping businesses improve their financial position is about “getting the marketing fundamentals right and only then moving on to more sophisticated strategies. While her track record speaks volumes about her ability to build strong marketing foundations, Bev’s extensive networks ensure Strictlymarketing is also able to offer the latest innovative marketing techniques. Prior to launching Strictlymarketing, Bev Strickland was National Director, Marketing, for Byvan (one of Australia’s largest property services firms), with responsibility for a $27 million per annum marketing budget and more than 90 marketing staff in 200 shopping centres across the nation. Bev’s ability to secure new business, generate million-dollar management fees and maximise income from existing assets was integral in helping Byvan become Australia’s largest privately owned shopping centre management company.

Nicole Binney Marketing Manager Nicole Binney is a well-regarded, award-winning marketer who has held a number of prominent marketing positions at major retail properties in Brisbane since 1999. She was most recently the Communications Manager for the MacArthur Central retail property in the Brisbane CBD and has held previous senior marketing roles with Portside Wharf, Little Stanley Street, South Bank, Albany Shopping Village, Beaudesert Fair, Arndale Shopping Centre, City Plaza and Anzac Square Arcade. Nicole is a strategic addition to the Strictlymarketing team and her high-level experience, knowledge and skills significantly strengthens our overall retail marketing capabilities and service offering. Strictlymarketing clients will benefit from Nicole’s proven expertise, dynamic thinking and creative approach and she plays a leading role in developing strategic marketing plans to maximise the performance of clients’ retail properties. Nicole is an award-winning marketer who has had success at all kinds of retail properties in different locations with varying retail offerings and styles. This level of experience, understanding and success in retail marketing is not readily available in Brisbane and adds real value to Strictlymarketing retail clients. Nicole’s thorough understanding of the retail property sector and her strong track record of success complements the expertise of Bev Strickland and her team.

Allana Ritchie Marketing Executive Allana Ritchie brings a valuable mix of marketing, retail and administrative experience and skills to Strictlymarketing and has a strong operations focus across all aspects of the business. Allana has recently worked in an Office Administrator role with Jones Lang LaSalle for the Wintergarden, Broadway on the Mall and 155 Queen Street retail properties in the Brisbane CBD. Her previous marketing, administrative and retail roles include more than two years’ experience in marketing, more than four years in office administration and more than 10 years in retail sales. Allana recently completed a Bachelor of Business with Distinction Majoring in Marketing from the Queensland University of Technology. Her marketing skills encompass marketing campaign development, stakeholder relationship engagement; social and digital content management, and creative agency and PR co-ordination. Allana is a young, dynamic retail executive who provides invaluable marketing capabilities and support across the day-to-day business operations of Strictlymarketing and the growing client base.

Tina Feetham Marketing Executive Tina brings wide-ranging retail, business, organisational and management experience to Strictlymarketing, including 10 years owning and managing a retail communications business. Her valuable hands-on retail experience in owning and growing Network Communications stores is complemented by leadership, human resources and operational roles with Scripture Union. Tina is a valuable addition to the Strictlymarketing team and brings excellent marketing and communication skills to its complete service offering to clients across many industry sectors. A natural ‘people person’, Tina enjoys working within a team to achieve organisational and client objectives and has proven leadership and management capabilities. Tina holds a Diploma of Management and is currently studying a post graduate diploma in Professional HR with the Australian Human Resources Institute.

Rachel Liddle Senior Graphic Designer Having a strong and consistent brand is essential to creating a positive public perception and experience for any company, product or project.
