Well Search Results Page

There are four results in the state. Only one matches our property. To see the well information click on the Magnify Glass next to the record of interest.

Well Information - Basic

Here is the basic well information. API number will be important if you do not already have it. Also you can search Google Earth by Latitude and Longitude to find the exactly location of the well.

There are many Form #s, you can review them here or on the All Images page.. Form 1000 contains information relating to Well Permits and Applications.

Clicking on completions, results in basic information about each completion for your well. In this example there is only one completion. Had there been a recompletion, for example going up hole and recompleting in a new formation, an additional completion record would be listed here.

Clicking the Magnify Glass, results for the completion are listed. Any where you see the Microsoft Excel Icon, you can download that information to your computer in Excel format. Notice at the bottom tabs for: Orders Plug/Packers Prod. Forms Formations Here we will get the Spacing Order number to find the unit size later.

Clicking on the Production Button we see a place to enter a year and search for production. Production runs anywhere from 2-3 months or longer behind todays date. Similar to the Check runs you receive.

Searching on 2013 you can see the Producing Formation(s), Gas totals, Production Status and Volume reported by month for 2013.

Forms shown here: 1073 - Transfer of Operator 1000 – Well Permit/App 1001A – Well Spud 1002C – Cementing Report 1002A – Completion Report

New Well Browse by API number

Make sure to not enter any dashes. Only the number: For example: 35-051-22704 should be enter as 3505122704

Well Search by API Results

Entering the API, found on some check runs will take you directly to the well records for your well.

Well Search by Section / Township / Range

You can search by a few or as many criteria. For example if you wanted to see all the well in this township just enter 09N and 05W. To narrow your results enter the Section and even enter a Quarter section.

Imaged Documents – Cases/Orders/Production Records

http://www.occeweb.com/index.html From the home page navigate to Divisions > Oil and Gas > Imaged Documents

Imaged Documents Home Page

All documents except Well Logs are in PDF file format. It is necessary to have a PDF Reader like Adobe Reader installed on your computer to see and print the files. Start by looking as OAP Orders and Cases Files.

OAP Orders and Case Files This is a good place to locate all documents related to a Pooling and/or Spacing. There are a number of documents that are not mailed to respondents that may be of interest. Every wonder why a pooling hearing seems to take so long for the order to be issues? One reason could be a Motion to Protest. This Case# came from a property last year you can see that the first four digits are the year. Case # 201204517

There are 23 documents related to the Pooling and Spacing of this property. The operator was Protested you can see by the Motion highlighted.

You can also see when the Affidavit of Mailing the Pooling Order was done. See Exhibits filed, such as the AFE (Approval for Expenditures) for the well.

Back to the OAP Order and Case Files webpage. Looking up the spacing order for the Bazhaw well to find the size of the unit. Will show if our property is in the well and help us determine our unit and royalty interest.

Clicking on the ID number will bring up a PDF file of the Spacing Order. To get back to this page click on the back button on your Mouse or keyboard.

Back to the Imaging Documents web page. Clicking on Oil and Gas Production will allow you to search Monthly Production Reports submitted by Payors and Operators to the OCC. These files are very large and most contain large amounts of data. But can be useful if you wanting to see neighboring wells that the operator may have in an area and how they are producing.

In this example we will search on High Sierra and look for wells in Pontotoc County.

This list was provided by: OCC – Consumer Services Division If you are needing a Purchaser/Payor reporting number call them at: 405-521-2613

Leave the Form # blank. Enter the Purchaser # and an effective date range, the date the report was filed with the OCC. Click Search. Note: These files are very large. The production reporting here are the monthly reports, addendums and corrections submitted to the OCC by Purchasers/Payors for wells in the state of Oklahoma.

High Sierra has 32 documents found in our date range. The most recently filed Production is for the month of January 2013 and was filed on April 1st, 2013. Clicking the ID will bring up the 300R submitted. This document is nearly 400 pages long and will load slowly. Please take caution when printing, you may only want to print one page or a range of pages.

Good page to bookmark and see where the activity is taking place.
