Dear Colleagues! On June 11–14, 2015 in accordance with the plan of scientific and practical events of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the XII International Congress “Osteopathy Open 2014: current problems of osteopathy” will be held in Saint-Petersburg.

International Congress «Osteopathy Open 2015: Current problems of Osteopathy» The Congress is dedicated to a number of current problems of modern osteopathy:       

State regulation of osteopathic care and special aspects of education in osteopathy. Use of osteopathic methods in treatment of different pathologies in children. Osteopathy in medical rehabilitation of children Use of osteopathic methods in preventive treatment of children and adolescents. New approaches to osteopathic treatment of newborns Methodological basis of osteopathic treatment of pregnant women. Objectification of the results of osteopathic treatment with the use of modern instrumental diagnostic methods

The Congress includes the conference «Procedural and Institutional Aspects of Education in Osteopathy and Osteopathic Healthcare”, proceedings of the professional commission in osteopathy of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, as well as the Symposium “Osteopathy and Child Health” that involves scientific and practical seminars held by the leading osteopaths from Russia, USA, Europe and Canada. The XII International Symposium held within the framework of the Congress is a widely known scientific event. Its aim is to coordinate scientific researches on osteopathy in Russia and abroad. All the participants of the Congress will receive certificates. Specialists who would like to take part in the Congress, should draw up an application with the full name, place of employment, job title, academic degree, e-mail, postal address and postal code, phone number with the city code, fax. We would be pleased to see you in St. Petersburg, capital of the Russian Osteopathy. Osteopathic medicine can make a significant contribution to patient’s health gain and life quality.

LANGUAGES OF THE SYMPOSIUM: Russian, French, English. FORM OF PARTICIPATION: Oral report, publication of abstracts, participation without reports or publications, participation in scientific and practical seminars (workshops). ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:  Deadline for performance of abstracts—April 15, 2015.  All the abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the organizing committee.  Selected abstracts will be published in the papers of the Symposium.  Abstracts must be printed in Russian, English or French language. Recommended size of abstracts: 2 pages А4. Recommended format: Word.doc, Times New Roman, text size 12, single space with 2 cm field. Structural arrangement of abstracts and articles:  The name of the article must be printed in capitals, semibold with center alignment, it mustn’t exceed two lines;  Author’s surname(s) with the initials at the close;  Name of organization, phone number, fax, e-mail;  Sections: introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion;  Name of each section must be typed in the center of the page in semibold. Abstracts shouldn’t contain diagrams, pictures, bibliography (citations in the text). Articles: size over 3 pages, may contain diagrams and pictures, bibliography is mandatory. Printing type of inscriptions on diagrams and pictures mustn’t be smaller than the printing type of the body text. Abstracts and articles must be sent to the following e-mail addresses with the request of the read notification: [email protected], [email protected] The PowerPoint presentation must be sent before the beginning of the plenary session on CD or Flash drive.
