I suppose I just like the high street shops like Topshop and things like that but...would ASOS be a brand? I use that quite a lot as it is easy to shop online. I don’t really focus on brands too much to be honest. I like ASOS because there are a lot of sales on at the moment, cheaper things, but there are nice things on there as well.     What are your favourite brands and why? [...] As far as food brands are concerned, one of my favourite things that I do occasionally kind of splurge out on is the Gü puddings that I just think are really amazing, good portion sizes and that kind of stuff, it’s more of a premium food product I suppose. For clothing I buy loads of my clothing from H&M just because it’s pretty good value and [...] for technology I really like Apple technology but I feel a little bit like it’s overpriced for what it is, its really nicely designed and everything but I don’t tend to buy Apple products but I like using them, when other people own them. 0:14:33:19 Why do you sometimes splurge on premium products? I think it’s really important to enjoy food maybe not everyday have expensive and fattening food but it is kind of a source of comfort if you’re feeling a bit low. So Thornton’s chocolates as well. Favourite brands there’s quite a few…I’ll start off with clothes because that’s easiest…quite a few Hollister, Abercrombie. Franklyn and Marshall and then Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger I have a couple of bits of Prada, Gucci and then smaller not exactly brands but Topshop and River Island I would shop, food brands I’m not really too concerned about. I would just go with whatever is cheapest being a student. What else…trying to think of together things with brands, apple definitely, my laptop is a Macbook Pro so obviously as I said I have an Iphone. What else… no I would say whenever possible I would go with Apple.     My favourite brands…that’s hard…I suppose Apple’s one of my favourite brands. I have got a Mac and I love it, I don’t know I’m not really a kind of brand orientated person. I like charity shops and things like that. 0.47.08 Why do you like Apple? Brands, as in what I wear? 11:02 Yes anything. I’ve got loads of brands that I like, you know, I like Nike and Adidas. There’s a lot of hat brands and I mean a lot of hat brands that I like. One I really do like is Mitchel and Ness; it’s American based from Philadelphia. They do like baseball, basketball hats like this. Yeah that’s probably one of my favourites, I could go on forever. There’s Obey Snapbacks, because, they’re Snapbacks, these kinds of things here (takes off hat), that’s what a Snapback is. And you can get Obey, there’s Chocolate, the one I’m wearing now. It’s normally actually based on skateboarding but I don’t do skateboarding whatsoever, but the brands, they’re insane. There’s Vans, that’s another skateboarding brand. Vans, Supra, stuff like that. Technology, not really, I’ve got just a standard HP laptop, I don’t really, I’m not really…I don’t really care about that, I use it at home. When I’m dressing, it’s obviously so people can see me, people aren’t going to come in and look at my laptop and food. I suppose there’s a lot of snowboard brands out there, you know Burton, Smith, Oakley, or a lot of those sorts of brands, so that’s one category. I don’t know really. 24:06 What is it about those brands you like? The snowboard brands? 24:10 Yeah. Just they’re cool you know. Lot of creative, bright colours, good designs, top of the range, sort of…especially with the snowboards, there’s a lot of technology that goes on, so you can sort of rely on certain brands for certain things. Yeah, it’s kind of, it’s almost like a whole sub-section of knowing what different brands know for different riding styles, different types of wear and, it’s like, yeah it’s quite interesting actually the branding for snowboarding. 23:45 What about high street fashion, what do you go for? Quite often Topman, American Apparel, that sort of stuff. I mean it’s worth paying a little bit more for the quality, whereas some things I’ll get from Primark, whether it be socks and boxers, just because, you know, they’re kind of throwaways, but if you want a pair of jeans or a t-shirt that’s going to last more than a one wash, then it’s worth going to Topman or something like that so. 25:18 What about technology?     I love Redbull, simply because of its creativity, the way just nearly everything. Most people say extreme sport, but I’ve seen them all over University, I’ve seen them sponsoring parties to basketball tournaments to anything, but they seem to be happy people all the time, I don’t know what’s in the Redbull but they are happy people all the time, so yeah that is pretty cool.
